You know they’re gonna kill you, right?

Fandom: Chicago Fire imagine Characters: Kelly Severide, Will Halstead, Jay Halstead, Y/N Summary: You and your husband Kelly have to tell your brothers Will and Jay that they are gonna be uncles. 

“Wait at least until we’re sure Jay doesn’t have his gun with him. Or when he has it with him, he has to put it away.”  Kelly rolls with his eyes and you know that he thinks you’re overacting again.  “Kelly, you know my brothers. I have a few ideas of how they are gonna react and I want to be prepared for everything.”  “Babe, we’ve been married for two years. Don’t you think they-”  “You know there’s a chance they’re probably gonna kill you, right? If Jay hears you knocked his little sister up-”  “Y/N...”  “Have you heard the story of what Alvin did when his daughter got her first boyfriend? My brothers are probably gonna be way worse.”  “We’re already married, they can’t scare me away that easily.”  “Don’t tell me I haven’t warned you.”  You knew that multiple scenarios could occur, depending on the moods your brothers were in to. They could be really happy for Kelly and you, or they would go all “You knocked up our little sister” mode. She really hoped for the first one, but with siblings like hers... You could never know. 

“Hey.”  “Hey.”  Your brothers Will and Jay came into Molly’s together. They greated both you and Kelly and sat down at the other side of the table.  “Hey fella’s,” Herrman greated the four of you. “Three beers and a lemon soda for the lady.”  “Thanks Herrman,” it sounds from four mouths.  “Since when do you drink lemon soda?” Jay asks. When he came in, you were able to see that he had his gun with him. Shoot.  “Since I don’t feel up to having wine,” you answer.  “So, why did Jay and I have to come over to Molly’s?” Will asks. “You know it’s game night right?”  Kelly puts his arm around you.  “Well-”  “You’re not pregnant, aren’t you?” Jay asks.  You and Kelly look at each other. Will almost spits out his drink.  “Wait, you’re pregnant?!” He almost yells through the bar. You start to laugh and Kelly presses a kiss against your cheek. “Surprise!” You say. Will starts to embrace you with a big smile on his face while Jay congratulates Kelly.  “Congrats man. You better be taking good care of her from now on.”  “Always.”  A few seconds later, Will completely starts drowning you in a “big brother who is a doctor and knows it better talk,” while Jay talks to Kelly about other stuff.  This went better then you imagined. Way better. It made you feel good.
