In case my previous post was too long, I wanted to highlight this amazing video Will Hoffman did for Radiolab episode on the moment of death.

Highlighting the often ignored moments that make up the bulk of our day is both beautiful and uncomfortable at the same time. I think I'm going to go appreciate something now.

"Moments by Will Hoffman"

As this was created in conjunction with Radiolab, I'll let Jad Abumrad explain it:

We’ve decided that the best way to reimagine yourself is to collaborate promiscuously...And on several occasions, we've handed our episodes to independent filmmakers. Here’s one of our first video experiments, produced by a guy named Will Hoffman, who went on to create Everynone with Dan Mercadente and Julius Hoffman. Will created this video in conjunction with an episode we produced about the moment of death. We paid Will two grand for that video. I find it one of the most inspiring things we’ve done in the last few years. Not to mention that it’s closing in on 2 million views.

What I find most compelling about this video is how, because of the way each "moment" was shot, specific moments register differently if you've experienced them. I can't help but think that that was intentional.
