hi emme, I’m going to be really apparent with you because i’ve been a fan of your works since ready player one and recently when reading ur fics i can’t help but feel like your writing style has changed too drastically from that series to your cyber sex fanfic. Something else that i wanted to say is that your old writing felt more humanly written and I like that more compared to your recent fics that sometimes feel robotic and too metaphorical. I read the teaser to your Jake fic and it also just felt like I was reading an ai generated blurb of a book and it didn’t sit right with me especially because you now use em dashes instead of the old - you used to use. I know that doesn’t mean you use ai because you use em dashes i’m just concerned that your writing sounds too precise and robotic like to not be ai, and some of the vocab you use is also heavily used by ai.
Hi anon !!! I can assure you I do not condone or use ai in any of my writing. Yes, my writing style has changed since June mainly because I'd like to think that I've improved. I wasn't a writer before I opened up this blog, I was a reader, in fact I rarely wrote any literature close to what I'm writing now. I've tried to improve my writing with more detail and even now it can seem wordy, I have grammatical errors still which I don't know if you've noticed but they are most definitely there. For starters, I first started to using the em dash because it looked prettier than - on top of it being correct, I still use my em dashes wrong which I doubt ai generated works would skim over. My clarity in some of my writing is still iffy and at least to me, all I can really prove is that my writing isn't flawless to the point that it could be mistaken for ai regardless of how my writing has changed, or the punctuation I use. I've ended up recording a screen recording of my typing process in the docs because I have no other way to assure you I do not use ai up above
