how to tell dick grayson is regressing and avoiding it:

•you won’t be able to. he Will Not Break

however, if you know him reaaaally well, you might notice a few signs, such as…

•paying less attention during group discussions or pre/post-patrol debriefs. his eyes glaze over just a tad, like he’s zoning out

• chewing on the inside of his mouth/cheek; he’s gotten very good at doing this without it being visible from the outside, so it’s pretty hard to notice

•hiding away in random secluded spots (is he just not in a social mood, or is he small? the answer is yes)

•not playing along with jokes or missing an opportunity for a good pun

•generally acting quieter and more introverted

•seeking out higher ground, ie climbing on top of furniture or scaling walls or hanging out in the rafters. yes he does this when he’s big too, but if he’s small, He Is Definitely Going Up!!

•might call Bruce dad (or Alfred, grandpa) by accident. he will never acknowledge that this happened!

•disappearing for several hours without notice. he’s probably regressed and snuck away so no one would notice
