SUBTLE KNIFE FANART

So when I was at my friend Bea's house (http://www.beatrizcarmenmendoza.com/) I simultaneously became inspired by her insane amount of detail, and the end of the THE SUBTLE KNIFE, which I think is my favorite book of the Dark Materials book series.

I wanted to show an image of Lyra showcasing masculine traits, i.e. holding up the other main character ,who is swooning and falling over. I wanted Will to be frail and helpless and adoring Lyra. Anyways. The book isn't totally hetero (there are gay angels!!) but Will and Lyra are. So I tried to give it a little bit of a spin if I could.

I'm gonna make a simplier screenprinted version of this hopefully next month!
