Hello,

I saw your post that you were taking requests. Can I request a scenario where Y/N confesses to a character from Record of Ragnarok (you can choose which character), but they reject the confession because they are already in love with someone (their wives from Greek or Norse mythology)?

OOOOOOO. THAT'S SO SAD I LOVE IT.

Warnings: none other than getting your heart broken.

It was the end of the third match with God's vs humans. You didn't really pay attention as your focus was on Loki. He didn't seem too happy with this match at all, but still you continue to watch him with love filled eyes.

You don't exactly know how you came to love this trickster, but you do know that your heart beats for him everyday.

You can't help how hopelessly in love you are to him. And so you decide to confess to him before the beginning of the fourth match.

You were currently in the garden, enjoying the flowers, and the sweet scent of them in the air. It was quite warm and peaceful. You didn't hear anything other than your own footsteps and the sound of water.

In the middle of the garden there was a beautiful water fountain, the water was so clear that it was like looking into a mirror.

You went over and dipped your hand into the water, the water wasn't cold but warm. In fact it felt quite nice on your skin. But all good things must eventually end..

"Boo!" Loki shouted at you with a grin on his face as he floated above you.

You slightly flinched as you didn't see it coming, but you were half surprised as he did this often.

"I got you!" He practically cackled at your expression. He was still above the ground but not by much.

"ha, ha very funny" you said this in a unamused tone, but you had to hold back your smile from hearing his laughter.

"say, you didn't seem to be paying attention during the last match. Why is that?" He asked this in a teasing way, almost as if he knew you were watching him.

"I'm not too fond on fights.." you tried to make an excuse on to why you were not paying attention. You kinda hoped he believed it and kinda hoped he didn't as it would've made it either easier or worse for you.

"but you know one of our fellow Gods have been killed, and yet you don't seem so sad about it." He said this in a suspicious tone. Almost like he was asking if you sided with the humans.

"very unfortunate..of course I'm gonna be sad." It was true, you felt a tad bit Sad but he knew what he was getting into.

"you better not be siding with those pesky humans, it would be a shame if you did." He giggled as if he was planning to kill you if you were. And yet you still loved him.

He Suddenly landed back down and pulled you so that you were sitting down at the edge of the water fountain together, side by side. It gave you confidence.

This made your heart beat faster, it made you feel butterflies at how close he was, it made your cheeks go red. Something about him just made you feel hopelessly in love.

"you look a little hot there, are you alright?" He asked this with a grin as if he was teasing you. You don't know why he was doing this, but you had a stupid hopeful thought that he had liked you back.

"yeah.. must be because of how warm it is out here.." you try to play it off but as the seconds go by you couldn't help but feel more in love with him. You couldn't help it at all and that was fine with you.

"you know, you are quite the interesting one, sometimes it feels like you like me. How ridiculous is that?" He laughed at his own words as if he felt like it was so funny to him.

But to you it wasn't. The scene seems perfect to you, the fountain, the flowers, the scent, and the air. To you was like the perfect time.

And so you gathered your courage.

"I... I do" you muttered this by his head snapped towards your direction. His eyes widened.

"what was that?" In the same teasing tone he always uses.

"I do like you, I like you alot. I.." you were a bit hesitant but you shot your shot.

"I love you.." he didn't respond for a few seconds after that. It was quiet and the only sound was the water before it was broken by his loud laughter which made your heart drop.

"ha! That's funny did you really think I'd like someone like you?" He laughs, the same type of laugh that used to make your heart flutter, but now breaks it apart.

"what..?" You seen it coming but you were too blind to even care. This should of been so obvious coming from him.

"the only person I'd love would be Sigyn and never you." He said that cruelly without any remorse. He got up from beside you, still laughing here and there at your hurt expression.

Your confidence was crushed, your hope was crushed, and your heart was crushed.

He continued to laugh, grinning down on you like you were nothing more than a bug. Something he could step on without a care.

"what made you think you had a chance with me? That's ridiculous!"

And it was, it really was.

He continued to mock you, calling you names and all of that. But he soon got bored.

"I'd love to laugh at you more but I don't want to miss the fourth round. So I'll see ya there!" He giggly and floated away like it was nothing. Leaving you there by the water fountain.

You regret every having the courage to tell him, you regret even loving him. As it was foolish.

It was foolish to think he'd care. It was foolish to think he would like you back, to hope he would.

It was foolish to love him.

Authors note: so I'm pretty sure that in Norse mythology his wife is Sigyn. Also it probably isn't really hurtful. I didn't write it as "oh I'm sorry but I love her" I just kinda thought he'd rub it in your face.

Also I'm just getting back into writing so the plot may suck, it'll get better in the future, I hope so. There may be spelling mistakes don't mind them.

It's pretty light not gonna lie. Sorry about that. I'll try better next time.
