┘❖┌   ❛Uraraka how have your studies been going lately?❜ Tenya always felt as if it was his job as class president to check on everyone's well-being when it came to studying and homework, that was one of the many things he checked even with the first close friends he made here. Perhaps Tenya could even offer his assistance if someone was not doing well or needed help, it seemed like a good idea or maybe it was just him taking his duty to hard.

Battlefield awareness was something gifted to him in training. It was necessary to keep an eye on their surroundings because it could mean the difference between life and death. He’d noticed the moment ice no longer crawled from his footsteps and he couldn’t feel the heat that was keeping his temperature even. When his quirk clicks off like a light switch, the heaters in his vest click on, and the temperature difference kicks in with sudden ferocity. His right hand is freezing and the other side of his body is scorching. For once, he feels mismatched, smashed between discordant temperatures 

When he reaches for the familiar sensation of his quirk, there’s nothing. No fire at his will or ice in his wake. He’s petrified, grasping uselessly at straws while he searches for his suddenly nonexistent quirk. Unreasonably and effectively powerless, he knows he’s inadequate for the battles raging on around them. To his classmates around him, he’s useless. 

The ache in his arm reminds him that he’s risking frostbite. Even with his heater on, he needs to pull the ice off or risk frostbite. It’s agonizing, slow work to chisel his arm free. It’s interrupted by the churn in his stomach and Shouto notices pieces of ice are floating.

                    “Fucking hell.” Bakugou spun around, the heel of his hand slamming hard into the wall beside him to keep from setting off any more indoor explosions and taking out any more lockers, or furniture, or anything else that had been deemed fragile and ‘something he was going to have to pay for’. But it was the wall or her face. He was so sick of this bullshit. This was why he was never nice to people. It just made them whiny little pests in his ears, gnats that needed to be swat down.

                     “How many fucking times do I have to tell you that I’m not one of your little friends and to leave me alone before you get the goddamn picture, Round Face?” It was Sunday. It was his day off. He wanted to finish his homework, lay around and play video games, eat his leftover noodles, and have absolute silence from everyone else in the dorms for once in his fucking life. Instead he got Round Face playing twenty questions with him and he had enough of that.

After a long day of training, she approaches him sitting on the couch, draping her arms around his shoulders loosely, and resting her head gently against him. "Do you mind if I stay like this for a little while?"

                The tv didn’t show much as the zapped way of channels had been his little activity. Returning back from a lesson on the field, Shouto felt more than up for a simple relax on the couch as the hot shower from before had for sure eased up his aching muscles. Lips pursued a bit together as a quiet sigh slipped. Really at least some channel could be interesting for once, but no. His luck had run out for today it seemed. Shifting a bit in the seat of the empty couch, approaching steps caught his ears before a slight of surprise reflected in the expression when he saw who it was. 

                      Oh right, the girls had a half hour more than the boys this time so it wouldn't seem odd that she was arriving after him. Letting go of the remote as the female moved over, an approach of straddling his lap slightly, as slender arms would draping around his strong shoulders loosely but tight enough so she wouldn't fall off. As the bi colored eyes met warmly hazel in silence for a few minutes, her little question seemed to hang on the surface between them, as Shouto felt his own lips tug on a small smile. 

                 " Was Aizawa that harsh with you girls, Uraraka ? "

             Naw, he never minded her company actually, and that was surprising.

9. What’s your opinion on duplicates?

[ Okay real heckin talk here bc I know there’s bound to be people who feel the way I do to varying degrees:

I’ve mentioned this in the past and I don’t exactly keep it secret but I do, and have been, struggling with N//PD+BP//D for years. This is relevant bc it ensures that I have an extremely skewed self perception. The only way I can feel validation is through achieving something or being ‘the best’ at something. That being said, having duplicates around is sort of an exposure treatment for me. And all things considered, I like having duplicates around bc they help balance me out.

Sure I get upset occasionally, but it’s a product of my own PD and self esteem. Not the duplicates. So I exercise responsibility by first removing distress (performing self care). And then rationalising it by reminding myself that rp isn’t a competition. I have nothing to win, and nothing to lose either. I’m here to have fun. I then remind myself to try to view duplicates as opportunities to learn bc it appeals to the benefit driven side of me.I like to observe other bkg writers and how they choose to rp their muse. I find out areas that they are good in and areas where I can learn from. And it helps as well, to remember and see that they’re also doing their best and trying to refine and improve themselves. It helps to remember and see the writer behind the muse. And I’m a lot happier that way bc I made a lot of friends and we’re able to share ideas.I still get the occasional bouts of NPD envy + rage. That’s not something I can control. I don’t intend to guilt myself for feeling negative emotions either bc envy is part of a human + species emotion. So why would I fault myself for expressing something so natural? The only thing I can control is what I do. By remembering that, by reminding myself and with all these little things, it helps me cope. It helps remind me of my progress and rewords toxic behaviour. So duplicates are a good thing for me ultimately. ]@willgravity

“Can I sleep with you tonight?”

         A leaning back on the soft couch, eyes would focus on the content inside the transparent glass itself on the coffee table ahead of his position. Actually, another late night and he somehow couldn’t just fall asleep and dream away like the rest had.It wasn’t the fact that he wasn’t home anymore, since the room reminds him very deeply about it, no lie. No, it wasn’t a homesickness, it was more of how empty he really was in that room. Alone and quietly with his own thoughts and mental ideas. Shifting the right leg slightly over to the left instead of the opposite, a caught of approaching steps got him to straight up the back a little.

                Damn, was Aizawa already figuring out his sly move this late night? But once the voice spoke, the eyes slightly widen for a second before he focused back on the glass of half drunken up transparent water. " Oh Uraraka, what're you doing up so late? ", a question she quickly could throw back at him in return if she wanted to, after all, he had a particular reason, and yet he couldn't tell it like it was a spoiler to a new movie or something else easier.  No, not many would know about his family and the childhood of nightmares he had to experience even as very young age. Waiting for her response, Shouto reached over to the coffee table as the calloused right hand moved and grabbed hold of the glass as he smiled and took a slow sip. Drinking up the rest, a clear on the throat was made before head turned slowly towards her direction. 

       But instead of an expected response, he was greeted by a surprised ask of a slight begging. Scanning her in sly and silently, Shouto wondered why she had asked him of everyone, even more, if she had knocked many doors before deciding to head down to the joined kitchen and eventually be sure she had found him here after all. Shaking the head mentally, Shouto turned to the shorter brunette as he smiled slightly again. 

                      " Well I don't see the harm,                           but we should be quiet when                  we use the elevator after all Aizawa-sensei                       could be around on his night patrol. "

I’m sure I’ve told you this before, but just in case you’ve forgotten or need a reminder: I think the freaking world of you, Rae. You might not agree with me on this, but I think you’re an incredibly strong and fantastic person. You’ve been through ( & you’re still going through ) some serious shit, but no matter what life throws your way, you keep going. I admire that about you so so much and I’m so grateful to have met you and gotten to know you, my life wouldn’t be the same without you in it. 

I remember when I kickstarted my blog, you were such a positive, friendly and approachable presence when I first joined the fandom and made me feel so at ease right away. And as for your blog itself? Where do I begin? Your graphics are beautiful. I know how hard you work on them and you do such a fantastic job with them, you should truly be proud of yourself, Rae! As for your portrayal: it’s honestly incredible. You breathe life into Uraraka in such a beautiful way, expanding upon what canon has given us and making your portrayal so unique and wonderful while still maintaining her canon traits. Your writing flows so gorgeously, it’s never clunky or difficult to read, which is such a blessing. 

All in all? You’re a babe in every aspect, 10/10 would recommend until the end of time. I love you. ♥

Can we talk about @ofiignition / @inheritwill real quick because holy shit? Gina, your portrayals of both Midoriya and Bakugou are freaking outstanding ( and your graphics are so freaking pretty too wtf??? ). It amazes me how you manage to grasp both of their personalities so immaculately and portray them with what seems like effortlessness? They’re completely opposite from each other, and yet you have both of their characters completely nailed. Considering just how much development the two of them get on a consistent and near constant basis, I’m in utter awe of you. I can’t even begin to put my thoughts into words because I just think you’re incredible through and through?? 

BUT WHO’D HAVE THOUGHT THAT THE WRITER BEHIND THESE TWO FANTASTIC PORTRAYALS IS SUCH A FREAKING MEME? In all seriousness, I think you’re an awesome person, even though we haven’t had much chance to talk yet, I hope that changes in the future! You’re such a friendly, downright hilarious person and it’s a blessing to even know you a little. ♥
