He looked annoyed, then again, when did Conrad ever not look annoyed? He didn’t mind the fact he had a bit of a reputation as being a hard ass…but it got shit done right? It wasn’t as if Conrad was trying to poke his nose in another doctors case, he didn’t want to over step boundaries but…he liked the kid. “Hey, new-guy,” Conrad said with a small upward nod, a point towards the empty room, “Halstead, right? I need a word,” he didn’t wait for a reply, instead he swung the room door open, waiting for him to follow, and then gently closed it behind him, before spinning the rod for the blinds.
“Your patient, Andrea, I like her…treated her several times, she’s had a rough ride,” complication after complication after complication. “Which means, I would quite like her not to die in here, so you need to get Bell off her surgical base, before he HODAD’s kills her.” Well, truthfully, he wasn’t entirely sure just how much Halstead knew about what was going on here. “His complication rate is through the roof, he killed an appendectomy patient, inters don’t even screw that up. You want you patients to get out of here alive, you keep him as far away from them as possible.”
