I’ll answer all the ones you sent in this ask lmao don’t wanna spam my dash. Also will just answer them for Alexander bc you said I could pick and he’s the one on my mind.

1. What’s their full name? Why was that chosen? Does it mean anything?

Alexander Cinereus. When he came out as Trans* he didn’t give himself a new middle name.

I’m not sure why he ended up with the first name Alexander. He’s been an OC for a long time and that’s just always been his name. Cinereus is Latin for ‘ash or ash-coloured’. Bc he’s grey and black.

4. What is their relationship with their parents? What’s a good and bad memory with them? Did they know both parents?

9. Do animals like them? Do they get on well with animals?

He is an animal Some do, some don’t. Just the same as some people in our world liking us while other’s don’t. There’s not really any specific species known to dislike him or other aardwolves though.

15. Are they good at cooking? Do they enjoy it? What do others think of their cooking?

He doesn’t like hot food. Not like spicy-hot. Like, warm-hot. Most of what he eats is raw (his diet consists largely of termites) or prepackaged snacks from the supermarket shelf (like crackers). He doesn’t spend much time in the kitchen.

24. What is their sleeping pattern like? Do they snore? What do they like to sleep on? A soft or hard mattress?

What’s sleep Alexander is nocturnal, so sleeps mainly during daylight hours. All the curtains in his room are closed at all times to keep the sun out, and when he sleeps, he makes a makeshift “nest” out of blankets and pillows and buries himself under there. He feels safer that way.

25. What do they find funny? Do they have a good sense of humour? Are they funny themselves?

Most of Alexander’s sense of humour comes from the silly things Jack does. If Jack puts something that’s not a hat on his head, or speaks in a silly voice, 9 times out of 10, Alexander will probably find it hilarious.

He does not find most others funny, though. Due to his being teased in school, and his father’s “sense of humour”, Alexander has a hard time feeling or showing amusement unless he is incredibly close to someone. Add in the fact that he’s shy in nature, he would rather stay quiet.

Shyness and tiredness both contribute to him also being not funny. According to him, anyway. Jack and William insist little things he do to be the best things ever, but he does not agree.

35. What’s their guilty pleasure? What is their totally unguilty pleasure?

He and Jack both like watching cartoon movies made for children when they’ve got time off. No One Must Know.

I don’t know if it’s much of an un-guilty pleasure, but he takes A Lot of joy out of making and not breaking eye-contact with someone while he’s eating. Those termites he’s eating are alive, and he makes sure to eat slowly just to see if they’re unnerved.

Oh that’s another thing he finds funny, and William hates it.

37. Do they like to read? Are they a fast or slow reader? Do they like poetry? Fictional or non fiction?

Badly written erotica and fanfiction is his favourite thing to read just so he can poke fun at it. He and Jack get together to red them out loud, putting on funny voices for the characters, and struggling to breathe through bouts of laughter.

39. Do they like letters? Or prefer emails/messaging?

Texting or emailing is easier for him. His handwriting is atrocious and autocorrect makes his typos understandable.

42. What are their goals? What would they sacrifice anything for? What is their secret ambition?

Alexander has two goals in his life currently.

One, he wants to find a way to save his sisters from their father. It is a work in progress and he has yet to iron out all the details or plans yet.

Two, he is studying to become a midwife. His mother died in childbirth and he wants to try and help future mothers and their young from the same fate.

He’s currently studying medicine, as he knew that’s what she would have wanted him to do. He feels he’s closer to his second goal than his first.
