WIILIAM- “Thymian is empowered, Nico. I have the gift to discern others gifts and powers, much like my sister Elba. Which I understand trained you. This is good. Thymian possess the gifts that many of us have. Her training and growth must begin as soon as she begins to speak and understand words.”
NICO- “I don’t understand, most of our family have never really came into our gifts until we were well into our teens. For the exception of Saffie Boedell.”
WILLIAM- “Yes, that is usually the case, but much like your dear Saffron, Thymian is blessed beyond measure. She will surpass her Ancestors with her abilities. She can begin to exhibit abilities even before she walks. It is a very precarious matter, as we have not had one of such powers in my generation, or in any generation for...well generations.”
WILLIAM- “As a child she is not aware of how those powers work, and many time things could happen that of course she does not mean to happen. Things moving around, fires starting for no reason, people being stunned...you MUST teach her from home, not in the public system, as they are not going to be equipped to handle her emotions, which will of course produce, non human results, but magical results. Some of which may not be good.”
NICO- “And her being female, we also have the whole hormonal issues...oh dear.”
WILLIAM- “Yes, but with the proper teachings and guidance, for all of you, it should go fine. Elba is a fine teacher, the best that we have been blessed to have, but she is almost at the end of her days. Her daughter, Chana is training to take her place and should be ready by the time Thymian is ready. I say these things not to scare you, or worry you. I want you to know these things to properly train and lead her. If not, ....well let’s not even consider the if nots.
