WILLOW - “I talked to him this morning and he said he was going to do everything in his power to be here tonight...so don’t you worry sweetheart. Shane will be here.”

THYMIAN- “I miss him when he goes to the city.”

WILLOW- “We all do, honey.  I mean we depend on him for so much here at the motel. He is our favorite handyman, right?”

THYMIAN- “Yes!!  He can fix anything.  Why does he go see his brother so much?”

WILLOW- “His brother is in the hospital, sweetheart. David had some problems and is pretty sick now.  Shane just wants to be there with him and Aunt Lisa and the babies to help them, while his brother gets better.”

Willow looked at him intently and then she realized who this stranger was...

WILLOW- “You need to go.  You are not welcome here, Kip!”

KIP- “I came to see my granddaughter and my son.”

WILLOW- “You’ve seen her, and that is all you are getting.  Now go before I call Nico.”

KIP- “I want to make things right, I want to try and be part of my family.”

WILLOW- “Listen, I have told you to leave. You are not welcome here, and Nico would be outraged if he knew I was even out here talking to you.  Not to mention, allowing you to even look upon his daughter. I advise you to go, NOW!”

NICO- “Fine, but I will be back...may I ask, What is her name?”

WILLOW- “NO YOU MAY NOT, now GO!”

THYMIAN- “MAMA...bad Man!!”

WILLOW- You are frightening her. If I have to ask you again, I will remove you myself.”

KIP- “With those devil powers, I am sure!  I am going!!”

But the flames were too much, and the smoke began to suffocate him. He tried to go further, but he couldn’t see. his eyes were burning, as were his lungs...the smoke and fire were too much, he fell and lost consciousness....

Kip Grant, died but saved his grand-daughter from the fire.  He tried to save her mother, but unfortunately, Willow did not escape, nor did Nova...they all died in the flames.

By the time the flames were out, Goth Manor was gone. Burnt to the ground.

The neighbor was able to get a hold of Char, Lennon and Nico...but by the time they arrived the only one left standing was their daughter...

Willow rushed back into the house and shut the door behind her....

THYMIAN- “Bad man, mama...”

WILLOW- “Yes, sweetheart, he is a bad man, but he is gone.  Come on, let’s get your lunch...what is that smell??  Did I leave the stove on?”

THYMIAN- “Hot mama!!”

WILLOW- “Yes, it is...here you stay right here. let mommy go check the lunch...”

A few days later, Willow received a knock on the door. Lennon was in Windenburg, Nico was at his mother’s house and Char was working at her boutique.  This was the normal run of things at their home. Willow and Thymian spent most of their days this way. Waiting for the rest of the family to return home in the evenings.  Rarely did they get visitors...

MAN- “I am so sorry to bother you miss, but I am looking for Nico Boedell.  I understand that he lives here.”

WILLOW- “He does, but Nico is not home, he is visiting his mother across town, how can I help you?”

MAN- “This little one...is this his daughter?”

WILLOW- “Excuse me, but who are you?  You look familiar to me.”

THYMIAN- “Mama...bad man...”

NICO- “Wow, you were hungry my little Rose....”

CHAR- “Willow, I am so proud of you!!  You did so good.”

WILLOW- “But that’s it...Never again!”

CHAR- “Okay, I can have the next one, but I am NOT having it at home!”

A few days later, an unexpected guest arrived to see the baby....

WILLOW- “GRANDFATHER!!!  Oh my, I am so glad to see you!  I had no idea you even knew I had a baby!”

WILLIAM- “Of course I knew sweetheart.  Remember, I know everything...”

WILLOW- “I am so glad you came!!  Everyone this is my Grandfather, William Jones. Coven Master of San Myshuno and Thymian’s Great-Grandfather!”

LENNON- “Thymian’s great-grandfather is the Coven Master of San Myshuno??  Did you know that, Nico?”

NICO- “I knew his name was William, but honestly I had no idea that he was Willow’s grandfather...”

As William took his great grand child into his arms, he became awed by her. He studied her intently. Their eyes never wavering from one another. Thymian seemed at peace as she gazed into her great-grandfather’s eyes.

WILLIAM- “Oh, yes my little Thymian...you will reign someday. Everyone will know of you.  We have been truly blessed...”
