#Power 🔥 “Why do you stay in prison when the door is so wide open?” ~ Rumi || Starting this year with this stunning mural by @menaceresa for @grafftours at @williamsburghotel which celebrates girl power. According to artists Menace Two and Reca Piece, this piece shows how women have the innate ability to channel their inner goddess and that our existence itself is cause for awe and wonder in that we have the unique ability to generate and nurture life. 🌱🌼🌱 It’s been a tough couple of months to end a tough year, with my mom’s recent cancer diagnosis so my apologies for being MIA. But reflecting now on Rumi’s quote and seeing how my mom has used her own power to never let any obstacle (including cancer) get in the way of living her life and always looking out for the positive in any situation has really inspired me to be grateful for each day and never take anything for granted. I would also like to thank @nanadeleplanque my reiki master, for being a source of love, wisdom and support, and for always reminding me that we all have to power to heal ourselves of any trauma, illness, disease, and discomfort if we choose to. Hope this inspires other women to embrace their inner goddess and others to have faith in their own ability to heal.
