He went into development camp thinking he had to beat him and show everyone he’s the superior player. He was also on the fence about Will. Mack wasn’t sure what to expect even though I think they texted before they physically met no?

Will in Mack’s mind in Dev Camp was a knight in shining armor or Prince charming: dreamy, beautiful and very desirable. The guy everyone wants to be friends with.

He didn’t expect how much fun Will would be and how much fun they would have together and it definitely felt to Mack like he was meant to meet Will and thinks of him as a good luck charm!

3 of Pens: I think Will and Mack were trying to work on their relationship outside of hockey. They wanted to try and incorporate each other into their personal lives and their family and friend groups.

I’ve said this before, but I’ll say it again. I think Will and Mack live a very different life in San Jose during the season than they do in the summer.

I think thoughts were expressed for the first time and things that they had been holding in came out and they saw each other in a different light, both good and bad.

Clarifier - 3 of Wands Rx: whatever Will and Mack wanted out of Boston didn’t really happen because Mack had to leave too soon. Maybe they had specific plans that got delayed or they just didn’t get the connection they wanted out of it. I also think they took a bit of a break from each other after Mack left, giving each other some space.

Sorta close to this but can you do a reading on what Will’s feelings on the whole Halifax thing were? Like to me it was shocking that Mr Rich Boy Manners was willing to show up somewhere uninvited so im curious

I actually did do a reading on Will’s POV and its here on the blogs somewhere 😅

I still remember it, Will was very hesitant to go, he was also exhausted and wanted to go home and didn’t feel like its a good idea.

Macklin talked him into it and he showed up because he knew this was an opportunity.

Its funny that others in the camp were a bit sensitive about Will being there, Will didnt want to go, Sid was stumped amd Mack got what he wanted.

Okay so if you remember from THIS READ and THIS READ about Shoulder Check, Mack’s King of Pens card came up reversed both times. I thought this was because he was worried about something but now I actually think it’s because “The Emperor” was talking some shit about him.

So when that came up again as the reason Will left and now around the TT change it made sense that whatever the boys were saying about Mack really pissed Will off.

2 of Swords + Ace of Cups Rx: he was trying to decide on what to do after they upset him.

3 of Cups + 7 of Wands + King of Pens Rx: people that Will thought were his friends were attacking Mack. I don’t know why.

4 of Wands: Will obviously cares about Mack a lot and is so proud of him especially after his contract announcement. He wanted to do something to show how close they are and how much Mack means to him.
