For Baby Turner :)
Calamus was always passing by this bakery and never going into it, he realized just the other day. Sure, he would always pass by it and admire all the baked goods and wish he had one in his mouth... But he never stopped. He just kept walking to get home. And so, he kind of figured... Why not stop, at least once?
The inside was even better than the outside, he realized soon enough, and he absolutely beamed as he wandered around and took everything in. Not only did everything look amazing, but it all smelled fantastic, too! God. He had never been in a real bakery since... Well, he couldn’t think of the last time he had done it, actually. Let alone when he had money he could maybe spend on some of it.
Leaning over the counter to admire everything, he paused as he caught sight of what he could only assume to be one of the bakers here, seemingly hard at work. “Wow! That’s incredible. How did you learn how to do all this stuff?”

Text | Will ⇄ Dorothy
Dorothy: Hey Will, just wanted to remind you there's a I'll be sleeping over Rosie's with Alby after work tonight and tomorrow night.
Dorothy: It's an Irish wedding tradition.
TEXT @ WILL
Priscilla: So, what do I do when dad cuts me off because I like, haven't saved anything. He's kind of getting more pissed off every day and I need a financial cushion. And I don't want to flip burgers at McDo.
Priscilla: Help, please.

A Rough Day | Will & Dorothy
Following her shift at the hospital, Dorothy tried taking a long shower at home but it hadn’t helped. She generally conducted herself better at work and handled misfortunes and scares with near-fearlessness, but seeing Henna in the hospital bed and having to make that call to Surge shook her. Before she knew it, she had a bag of belongings and was taking her dad’s vintage car out of Brooklyn to Will’s house. She struggled keeping herself together much longer but as she knocked, she felt the tears being to well in her eyes. Only then had it occurred to her that he might not be home; she hadn’t looked for his car and at this point, the tears blurred her vision too much for her to know, so she had only hoped.
