not to be too predictable on main but could I get some Willy stampler angst? (bonus: some Willy/bill for my dubsquared agenda?)
For the first bit of time after the demi-plane locks behind him, Willy let's his anger fuel him. The moment he can tell the Doodler is released also gives him some joy, but even that runs out after a while. Eventually Willy realizes, along with the boredom...he's lonely.
He doesn't need to sleep, but he does. Dreams at least get him out of this purgatory (he's convinced it's a purgatory, it has to have an end to it, he cannot stay here forever, that's what he has to tell himself). When he dreams about Bill for the first time, he wakes up disgusted with himself...but still lies back down, ignoring the small hope that if he falls asleep again, Bill will still be there.
But even as much as the dreams are an escape...the downside of a dream is that, no matter what...
you have to wake up.
