✘ Where in Wilmington does your character live?
Downtown.
✘ How big is it?
Very small. Three rooms, technically. The bedroom, bathroom, and kitchen/living room is one open space.
✘ How much is the rent if It’s a rental?
Around $700 a month, but he’s managed to convince the landlord to lower it temporarily.
✘ Does your character enjoy living there?
He does! He’s tried to make it as homey as he can considering he wants to stick around Wilmington for awhile. That said, he’s still got a half-packed suitcase shoved in his closet.
✘ Do they have a nice layout outside? Backyard, front yard, garden or patio?
It’s a small apartment so the outside layout is the street. He does have a succulent sitting on his fire escape though.
✘ Is this your character’s forever home?
Not necessarily, but he doesn’t have plans to start a family so he will keep his space small.
✘ What are their relationships with their neighbors if they have any?
There’s a nosy little old lady who lives next door that he claims he can’t stand, but he brings her mail up to her every day.
✘ How long has your character lived there?
As long as he’s lived in Wilmington, close to a year.
✘ Does your character have any roommates?
No. He’s definitely not one to share his space.
✘ Does your character have a favorite spot?
Besides his couch, he likes sitting on his fire escape with a good book and a fresh cup of coffee.
✘ What is your character’s home close to? Any landmarks or public locations?
He picked his location thoughtfully, it’s just a couple of blocks over from Bespoke Coffee.
✘ Does your character host gatherings often? Parties, barbecues, etc?
Never. Sawyer is extremely introverted. If someone wants to come over they usually have to just.. show up.
✘ Is this your character’s childhood home?
It’s not! It is the place he’s been settled in the longest since childhood, though.
✘ Furthermore… what are some memories from the place your character is currently at?
When he built his bookshelf by watching several tutorials on YouTube. It took him several days but it gave him the motivation and confidence to open his own store.
✘ And lastly, do they genuinely like living there?
He does! He likes the space he’s created, and he likes the location.
709 North 4th Street, Apartment E, Downtown, Wilmington NC, 28401 → wilmingtontask008
Home can be many things, many places. It can be people. It can be places. But it is the place where you are safe, warm, comforted and for Penelope Bradley 709 North 4th Street is that place. She never thought on the day she signed the deeds for the property that it would become a home, it always started out as a place to be until her life got back on track, until she moved back to the big city and everything made sense. But somehow, just somehow Wilmington has become her home. Still fairly neutral in case she does decide to sell it on ( unlikely, she’s far too attached the place and couldn’t bear the idea of someone else putting their mucky paws all over it ), this small but perfectly formed apartment has seen it all, from the screaming arguments to the endless make ups, evenings with Netflix, and the days where just getting up seemed to much.
Welcome to Apartment E. Wipe your feet on the way out...
How big is it? How many bedrooms? Bathrooms? Dens? Any other special rooms?
Honestly, Penelope can’t give you the square footage of the place. Even when she purchased the place she had never looked into those little details, preferring instead to consider the natural light, the small community garden at the back and the ease of access to Downtown. A one bedroom apartment might not make much sense of a thirty year old woman to purchase, but at the time where she had she’d been at an absolute low, with no consideration for any long term plans. Perhaps if her life ever changed then she would have to consider upgrading...but as it’s not likely to change in that way she’s quite content with how it is.
How much is the rent if It’s a rental?
The property isn’t a rental. Her parents bought it for her outright in the desperate hope that having property would ground her and make her feel less like a failure after she moved on from her original Wilmington rental property. As it turns out, it did. But she still feels like a failure, living in the home her parents bought for her to stop her going mental...
Does your character enjoy living there? Or is it just a stop in the road?
Yes. Generally speaking. But its worth considering that Penelope doesn’t enjoy much most of the time. She just sort of floats from place to place trying to find something solid to cling onto. But she does feel safe in her home, its the one place where she can let her guard down, and she has been known to hunker down and hide in her bedroom when things are getting too tough, refusing to acknowledge any of the real world.
Do they have a nice layout outside? Backyard, front yard, garden or patio?
The block itself is historic, a big red build with history seeped into it. It was one of the reasons why she fell in love with the place, with its large walk up steps and protected hallway before you reached the stairs. The community garden was certainly a draw as well, but she’s never had green fingers and isn’t going to start now. Mostly she enjoys to look out of the window onto the garden on a Saturday morning, nursing a cup of coffee as she sits in the window. The block itself is blessed with large windows and huge natural light and in the summer the apartment is bright and airy. In the winter it is...less so, but with all of her hidden lights and lamps around the place she makes it work
Is this your character’s forever home?
Not intentionally. But life has a funny way of changing your path. And perhaps if the situation changes then she would have to consider leaving ( it’s not like you can raise a family in a one bed apartment ). But for now it’s her property and it’s her home.
What are their relationships with their neighbours, if they have any?
Prior to her choosing to skip town she had absolutely no contact with her neighbours other than the occasional nod on the stairwell. She’s fairly certain that they hate her though. Between the endless rounds of arguments with @owensfitzpatrick at stupid o’clock, to her obsessive ( and loud ) cleaning sprees at all hours of the day, she’s sure she’s probably a nightmare neighbour. That said, they’ve never complained to her face, and now that she’s back she does intend to make amends. Sure she’s only managed to get around to @kevhoffman, but she’ll get there sooner or later
Does your character have plans to expand?
Not really. Far too much work and fuss and totally unnecessary. At any rate she can’t even afford that option now even if she wanted to
How long has your character lived there?
Penelope did have a crumbling apartment when she first moved to Wilmington on the dodgier side of town but when her parents found out they hit the roof and a year after she arrived in Wilmington they found her the apartment where she is now. Penelope has now been in that apartment for two years.
Does your character have any roommates?
Nope, nor would she ever take one. She did room sharing and apartment sharing back at university and it was not great. She was always obsessively clean and somehow got paired with the obscenely messy. No the only reason anyone would be moving into her property would be if they were a long term partner, and even then she’s gotten quite used to living alone. She shared her last apartment with Andrew, and still regularly misses that place, so it would take a lot for her to risk the same situation.
Does your character have a favorite spot?
Yes, sitting at her dining table in the early morning light when it pours in through the window. Everything glows. Everything.
What is your character’s home close to? Any landmarks or public locations?
As the apartment is Downtown she’s pretty close to everything Wilmington has to offer, particularly the coffee shops. When she worked at Turner & West she drove over to Forest Hills every morning but since quitting the job and selling her car she has taken to walking everywhere, especially through the nearby parks to get a breath of fresh air.
Does your character host gatherings often? Parties, barbecues, etc?
When she lived back in Boston, her home was the centre point of her social group, the apartment regularly hosting people from morning to night, friends turning up at their door with no warning. There was always a bottle of wine chilling in the fridge and spirits in the cupboard, crisps in the pantry. But since moving to Wilmington, Penelope has become a lot more closed off. Her home is her special place, and whilst she’s more than happy to invite a one night stand back to her place, it’s only the important people she invites back time after time -- and in some cases, allows to bang on her door at obscene hours of the night. Perhaps one day she’ll find it in her to host a party or a gathering but for now the idea of being the hostess with the mostess fills her with dread and panic and memories she does not know how to contend with.
Is this your character’s childhood home? If so… what are some memories from when your character was younger?
No, Penelope grew up in Ireland, spent her formative years in Manhattan and finally settled in Connecticut. Generally speaking she doesn’t even know where her childhood home actually is, she has memories in all three after all.
Furthermore… what are some memories from the place your character is currently at?
Memories? Oh she has a few. Not always good ones either. Sometimes that apartment has seen true joy, evenings spent on the couch with friends, pizza being ordered and Netflix on the screen. Weekends spent with romantic partners curled around each other, unable to separate for even a minute. But it has also seen a lot of pain -- endless arguments that carried on late into the night, moments of pure destruction where she tore the apartment to pieces screaming loudly and without restraint like a wild animal. She tries not to think of those darker memories, the days where she couldn’t leave her bed without feeling pain, and focus instead on the positives but it’s safe to say that apartment E has seen a lot.
And lastly, do they genuinely like living there?
Yes. It was never the place she intended on settling but now that apartment has become home and she can’t imagine leaving it behind. It’s still fairly clean and clinical, and she can’t quite bring herself to take out the boxes of personal photos that she has hidden away in cupboards to truly make it hers...but maybe one day.
WELCOME HOME | TASK #08.
⇾ 315 GRACE STREET APT C, Wilmington, NC 28405
A few weeks after turning eighteen Sydney packed her bags and moved out of her childhood home in Masonboro. The small one bedroom walk up in downtown Wilmington was only meant to be a temporary destination, but nearly twelve years have gone by and she still hasn’t left. These days if she’s not napping under a mountain of pillows and blankets on the couch, or catching a view off the modest balcony, you can find her at The Copper Penny, Bespoke Coffee, The Cotton Exchange, or the Dead Crow Comedy Room— all within easy walking distance.
PART 01 | 02
How much is the rent if It’s a rental?
Sydney pays $1,950 a month for her apartment, much to her dismay. // (ooc: this is based off of a real 1bd, 1br apartment I found on Grace Street and I, for one, am shocked.)
Does your character enjoy living there? Or is it just a stop in the road?
Most days, yes. Syd never expected to still be in the same rental she moved into at eighteen when she approached her 30th birthday, but the apartment does what it’s meant to do. Its walls are full of fond memories (covered in pictures and ticket stubs from them, too) and, after living there for so long, she’s grown very sentimental about the shoe box she calls home.
Do they have a nice layout outside? Backyard, front yard, garden or patio?
Living in the heart of downtown Sydney doesn’t have any kind of private outdoor space or yard, but she takes full advantage of her balcony and the building’s rooftop whenever possible.
Is this your character’s forever home?
ABSOLUTELY NOT. Sydney’s always dreamed of owning a house on the beach someday, most likely in Wrightsville, where she can raise a family and adopt 923928 dogs. Even though things haven’t gone as planned so far she hasn’t given up that dream yet.
What are their relationships with their neighbors, if they have any?
There are only four units on the third floor of her building and, out of the other three, Sydney is only close to her neighbor @tuckerwyvtt.
Does your character have plans to expand?
No. It’s not even possible where she currently lives and, even if it was, she wouldn’t be interested. She still firmly believes (on the good days) that her living arrangements are temporary. Expanding would imply she intends to stay for the long haul.
Does your character have any roommates?
Not quite. Sydney’s brother, @sfitzpatrick, slept on her couch for a short bit of time but right now her only full time roommate is her eight month old pit bull, Murphy. Whenever she’s lucky, Harley, the pit she adopted with ex-boyfriend, @lucasxreeves, comes to have sleepovers, too.
Does your character have a favorite spot?
If not her bed then definitely her balcony or the rooftop she’s claimed as her own personal oasis. All three are perfect for naps and generally contemplating life over a bottle of whiskey and a pint of Cherry Garcia. And beyond physical locations? Syd’s pretty fond of the random spots she’s covered in photographs. Every picture, be it the one she snapped the night she and Lucas met or ones with her family and best friends, tells part of her story. She truly appreciates being surrounded by all the people who’ve played a significant part in that.
Does your character host gatherings often? Parties, barbecues, etc?
You’d think not in an apartment that small, but you’d be wrong. Sydney loves having friends over when she’s in the mood and frequently hosts girls nights and an infamous ugly sweater party every year around Christmas.
Furthermore… what are some memories from the place your character is currently at?
God. Too many to count, honestly. She’s grown up in that apartment. It’s seen her through her highest highs and lowest lows. Above anything, though, her favorite memories always and without fail center around time spent with the people she loves. Horror movie marathons and popcorn fights, dance parties and bottles upon bottles of wine, three in the morning ‘conversations’ out on the roof with a baseball bat and some bottles to smash...
Too Good At Goodbyes - Sam Smith.
( Oh man, this is just... her song. It talks about how she’s learned to push people away and out of her life when they do something hurtful, even if it’s unintentional. It does get easier each time around. It’s how she copes, and it spreads far beyond her deeply-rooted trust issues when it comes to finding a partner. Even with people she considered friends or her family.. She listens to it, always by herself, whenever she feels upset and it makes her tear up. )
Backbone - Daughtry.
( This song always makes her smile and feel like a badass. It fills her up with hope while having a sick beat. So really, what’s there not to love? )
Believer - Imagine Dragons.
( This song is her j a m. Her energy skyrockets whenever she listens to it. She loves turning it up on full volume whenever she works out or even does chores around the house. Time passes by effortlessly. )
Human - Christina Perri.
( ok I know this is usually related to a romance but FINDING PLATONIC SONGS OUT THERE IS HARD OK. Anyhoe, I feel it’s a song that describes perfectly the difficulties she had to go through growing up in regards to her family and @spencerbayer. She was a kid that bottled everything up and, for the longest time, acted like she was picking up none of his accusations just because she wanted to be loved by her brother more than anything. But she breaks too, you know? And she’s held back what’s weighted her shoulders for far too long. )
Ring The Bells - Satellite.
( Picking just one song as her favorite ain’t a simple task. But I settled on this one because it’s so...nostalgic, sweet, sad and hopeful at the same time? And as a mun it fits with my deepest wish for her: To be able to take a leap of faith and fully embrace her life, the good and the bad. I want her to live her messy ass days and not regret a single moment. I’m hoping she’ll truly embrace it all one day, make amends with the people she needs, etc.. You get it. I believe it’s her deepest wish super deep down, too. So.. Here it is. )
Bang Bang - Jessie J, Ariana Grande, Nicki Minaj.
( It doesn’t matter if she’s had ten shots to drink and she feels like dying inside. When this song plays, she stands up and dances with all of her might. Simple as that. )
Make it Rain - Ed Sheeran.
( Alright, this gem right here... It’s really precious because it describes her life to a T but at the same time it gets her goin’, makes her feel a little... frisky. )
All I Ask - Adele.
( So... *sighs* that’s a super sad and bittersweet tribute to her first love. They shared a really beautiful story that was cut short since she was struggling with her mental health. She pushed him away continuously, but when she felt ready to try to make things right, he had to leave Wilmington and she never made it. Ever since there’s been years, physical distance, different partners and wrong timing separating them. Although I feel that, when she listens to the particular song, she goes back to their last night together before she inevitably had to let him go. )
Send My Love - Adele.
( Shoutout to her ex who cheated on her with one of her bffs. She refused to hear any angsty song about her at this point, but she’s just....done with her mere existence tbh. Like, if she turns up in town, Amy will hit her with the “new phone, who dis” line. )
Someone Like You - Adele.
( While I don’t feel she’d go out of her way to hear a song about @calvinxmccoy, I can’t help but feel there’s a good bunch of lyrics in there that would make her mind drift to him if she stumbled upon this song, even for only a moment. He’s an old friend and a guy she had...something with, on an emotional front. They shared a couple moments that were powerful enough to make her forget about the weight of the world on her shoulders. She still has that in mind when she returns “out of the blue, uninvited” and she finds him being happy, accomplished and settled down for good with the love of his life. So yeah... You guys get why her mind would definitely drift there until everything sinks. )
Because Of You - Kelly Clarkson.
( Last but certainly not least... This one goes out to her dad. He cheated on her mom for years while she struggled with depression, left them, and ruined their family. Her whole childhood was wrecked because of him and I don’t know she’ll ever fully trust a partner because of what he brought into her life. )
People say that high school can be the best four years of your life. For Sirena, they were far from it. She was an outcast. She was the druggie, the drunk, the girl with the anger problems, the girl with a dead mother and a father in prison. Hurricane Sirena is what people called her, and it was fitting. After a stint in rehab at 16 though, high school became an entirely new experience for her. She had to try and adapt to a new school and sobriety, neither of which were a walk in the park.
AGE: 14
Sirena walked through the hallway, her head down, her hands shoved deep into the pockets of her leather jacket. The toes of her boots were scuffed, and her jeans were full of rips from the top of the thighs, down to her knees. Glancing up just enough to see what was ahead of her, Sirena continued her way toward her locker. She didn’t give a shit about getting to class on time. All she wanted was a little pick me up before being stuck in a room for an hour with a pile of kids who couldn’t stand her, and vice versa. People around her shuffled their way to their next class. There was only a few minutes before the bell was set to ring.
She got to her locker and tugged out the water bottle inside. Taking a long swig of it, she could feel the familiar burn as the vodka went down her throat. Whether her teachers were too dumb to know she had alcohol at school, or they just didn’t care, Sirena didn’t know. If anything, she was thankful that they weren’t saying anything. She wasn’t sure she’d make it through the day otherwise.
The bell rang, and she knew she was late. In her eyes, she was already late, so what was the point in going at all? Sirena grabbed her bag from her locker and slung it over her shoulder. Gripping the strap with one hand, she slammed the locker door shut with the other. Making her way back down the hall so she could get to the exit, she was crashed into by another student. She watched his things fall to the ground, and she watched him move to pick them up.
He didn’t say anything to her, and Sirena shook her head. “Are you fucking kidding me?” she hissed. He looked up at her and rolled his eyes. “Relax, it was an accident,” he stated. “But you are cute when you’re angry.” He stood up with his books in his hands. Sirena immediately shoved him against the wall once he was on his feet, pinning him there with her arms. She was unbelievably strong, despite her size. “Wanna try again?” she asked. “Cool it, bitch,” he snapped. “For a freshman, you sure think you’re tough shit. Now move, I need to get to class.”
After his words, Sirena saw red, in more ways than one. The anger inside of her was at a high, and she felt like she was going to explode. In a way, she did. The rest of the red she saw was that which trickled down his face from his nose after she punched him. Stepping back, Sirena licked her lips, and smacked his books back onto the ground. “Fine,” she said, beginning to walk away. “Go run along to class.”
AGE: 15
One punch. Two punches. A hard kick to the shin. The way the girl she was fighting spoke about Sirena was enough to send her spiraling. Sirena hated this girl. She was snotty, she had a holier-than-thou attitude about her at all times. She had a huge group of friends; she was one of those people that others would blindly follow and go along with because she was pretty and people thought she held all of the power.
Hearing the girl call her a junkie was one thing, but when she took it to the next level by saying “you know, I heard that her daddy is in prison and her mom is dead. No wonder she’s so fucked up,” was too much. Of course those two things in her life were fucking her up, but that wasn’t this chick’s business. She didn’t even know how she knew, because she never said anything. She figured it must have been one of her cousins. She wouldn’t put it past Lucinda or Xavier to talk about her.
That was the start of Sirena pounding on the girl. A few more hits and Sirena had her on the ground. She was not playing around. She didn’t care about the consequences. She’d been suspended before, it was nothing new. She could take one more if it meant teaching a lesson about butting your nose in where it doesn’t belong. Sirena’s knuckles were bloodied and bruised, much like the face of the girl she was straddling as she hit. Sirena had claw marks on her cheek from the girl trying to fight back that were starting to bleed, but she could easily ignore it.
Given the size of the crowd surrounding them, it was no surprise that it only took a few minutes before two teachers were prying Sirena off of the other girl. It was a surprise to her aunt and uncle, however, hearing that instead of another suspension, Sirena wasn’t allowed back. She was expelled. Sirena didn’t care. The entire car ride home, she tuned the adults out completely. “Are you even listening?” Sirena nodded. “It’s not like I’ve got anything else to listen to,” she retorted. But she was too high to absorb any of what they were saying to her.
AGE: 16
The bass of the music thudded through the house, and through Sirena’s body as she began tugging her clothes back on. She didn’t know his name. She had no idea who he was, but it didn’t matter. Fucking at a party was fucking at a party; it didn’t mean anything. He wasn’t even her first that night. The girl she was with a few hours before was pretty good too, not that she knew who she was either.
Her family didn’t know where she was. Family. It was a term she had always chosen to use very loosely. By blood, and legally, yes. They were her family. But she hardly considered them as her family. They were some of the most judgmental people she had ever met. She didn’t want them as her family.
When she got home, she shimmied up the tree next to her window and slipped inside. Closing the window, she heard the sound of a throat clearing. She turned to see her aunt standing there with several empty bottles of vodka in her arms, and an angry expression on her face.
“What the hell is this?” Joanne asked. Sirena was furious. “Get the fuck out of my room,” the young girl snapped. “Why did I find a giant stash of liquor bottles in your closet?” Joanne took a few steps closer. “What the hell were you doing going through my shit?” Sirena asked. Joanne pointed to the pile of clothing on hangers on her bed. “I was going to put those away for you when I found these instead.”
Sirena rolled her eyes, tapping her foot impatiently as her aunt continued to go off on her about the alcohol. She was irritated, feeling a little twitchy. Her high was gone, and she was feeling it. The plan had been to use once she got in, but this was altering that plan for sure.
“Is this it?” Joanne asked. “Or are you using too? Just like your parents.” Sirena shook her head. “I’m not using,” she lied through her teeth. “It was just the booze. But I’m fine, I swear. It’s old, it not recent. Now can you please, just get the fuck out of here? I’m tired, I have a headache, and I need to sleep. It’s late.” It was late. It was almost four in the morning, but here they were. Clearly Joanne had been dead set on interrogating her. “Sirena,” Joanne warned. “What the hell do you want from me? I told you I’m not using, what more do you need?” Sirena hissed. “You’re unbelievable.”
“Fine,” Joanne said, dragging a finger along Sirena’s desk. She could feel something under her fingertip, and pulling her hand up, she could see very faint white powdery substance on her skin.
Joanne walked out after that. But within a few days time, Sirena was being taken to a rehab facility.
AGE: 17
Sobriety? Not an easy task. Even with therapy, every part of Sirena craved a high, or a drink. It was enough to make her skin crawl School was not going well. She was at a new school, but rumors spread. All it took was one person from her old school knowing someone from this new one for word to get out that Sirena was more than she appeared. Her days were spent with her head down low, barely speaking to anybody. She was used to not having friends. She was never good at friends, but she had hoped that making them while sober could be easier. She was wrong.
The loneliness she felt didn’t help with the cravings. All she had keeping her busy was school work, and that wasn’t fun. She was smart, but she didn’t like only having school to focus on.
She sat down at the piano one evening after she’d finished her biology homework. She didn’t know how to play anything other than Hot Cross Buns. She put her fingers on the keys, but she didn’t press down. She didn’t know how to play, not really. She decided against trying to play, about to stand up when Lucinda sat down next to her. Sirena never had a good relationship with her cousins, but when the older girl started trying to show her how to play, Sirena couldn’t help feeling grateful.
The feelings of gratitude only grew in the coming weeks when Trevor began trying to teach her to play the guitar, even going as far as to get her one of her own. She had an outlet, and it was something that she found great joy in. Sirena had always loved music, but when she was little, they couldn’t afford any instruments, and her parents were too high all the time to care that she wanted to have that hobby. And then when she was older, she was too high all the time to even think about wanting to do something other than drink or do the drugs.
At school, Sirena would sit outside during lunches with her guitar. She’d find a spot under a tree and start to play, she did it every single day. She was constantly trying to better her skills, and she picked it up faster than anyone expected. Sirena could listen to a song and figure the chords out by ear. People would walk by her while she played and would actually listen. People started being interested in what she was doing rather than just being interested in her rough past. It got increasingly easier for Sirena to exist without using drugs or alcohol as the months passed by. She started making acquaintances with other musicians within the school, and she had ways to keep her mind occupied.
AGE: 18
“What’s your plan once you graduate?”
Sirena rolled her eyes, shoving her hands into the pockets of her leather jacket. “We’ve been over this,” she stated. Sirena knew what her plan was, it wasn’t her fault that nobody else saw it as realistic.
“You need a real plan,” she school’s guidance counselor stated. “Your classmates have been applying to college and university. It’s not realistic to rely on your band. The chances of making it in the music industry are slim. It’s better to have a real career lined up.”
She had heard this lecture before. All of the adults in her life seemed to be saying the same thing. She and the guys had been playing together for over a year, making their own music, playing small gigs here and there. They were solid. She knew that it was going to be a long road ahead if they wanted to make it big, but she believed that they could.
“Aren’t you people supposed to be all ‘follow your dreams’ and shit? What happened to that?” Sirena stood up. She wasn’t going to sit there and be told that she wasn’t being reasonable. As she went to walk away, she felt the older woman’s hand around her wrist, and the blonde shot her a glare. “Sirena, you need to consider that this path might not work out. You need a backup plan.”
Sirena jerked her hand away. “Don’t fucking touch me,” she snapped, before walking out of her office.
--
When she graduated a few months later, she had made honour role. Sirena had turned her life around for the better, and she was actually proud when she walked across the stage in her cap and gown, with her ripped jeans, leather boots, and Iron Maiden t-shirt underneath to get her diploma. And she didn’t have a plan other than working at the diner and playing music, but she was determined to make a name for herself.

so who you've been calling baby? nobody could take my place
when you're looking at those strangers, hope to god you see my face
TAKE IT FROM ME | jordan davis
─ a makes you wanna dance kind of song. and one that never fails to put a smile on her face, forever attached to the way cass makes her feel ( featuring @casskaykingston )
maybe you should stop right now, right here
right where we wanna be i'll spin you around and let's just see
where this thing goes, all i know is that i'm all yours, all night
i've got nothing but time
SUMMER OF ‘69 | bryan adams
─ favorite song. a staple of her adolescent summer nights spent by the beach ( featuring @iris-ashley-hart )
oh, when i look back now, that summer seemed to last forever
And if i had the choice, yeah, i'd always wanna be there
those were the best days of my life
PARADISE | george ezra
─ good mood song
my heart (my heart), my boom-boom heart
it's a beat and it's a thumping, and i'm alive
