I love unbirthdays, don’t you? 

This morning the “birthday fairies” in my house left this sweet gift outside my door. My birthday is actually in August, but birthday fairies recognize half birthdays for residents who can’t celebrate their birthdays during the academic year. As someone who loves to treat themself on a regular basis, I totally dig the concept of half birthdays. It is a good excuse as any to celebrate life and do the things that bring you joy.

not to have emotions on main but im thinking about that house md episode from season 6 titled wilson where wilson donated part of his liver to his shithead friend, because he thought it’d keep the dude alive and his family together. and house told him he wasn’t gonna be there with wilson because “if you die, i’m alone” which is SO FUCKING RAW. and then he was there anyway, because he’s so scared of losing wilson and yet he can’t leave him to go through this alone, and he was the last thing wilson saw before he went under, and the way he smiled just as he went to sleep !!!

and then when he goes to visit the Shithead later, he finds out the dude is still with his jailbait gf instead of his wife and kid, and he’s like “[my wife] is great in a crisis, but the person you want when you’re dying isn’t the same as the person you want when you’re living”

and wilson thinks of house, and smiles and leaves, and the next shot is of house sitting by wilson’s hospital bed as wilson sleeps and i just have so many feelings about this one episode

Congratulations, Agnes Hu, for winning the Student Leadership Award for Outstanding Programming! Wilson House is so appreciative of all the hard work that you have done to make Wilson a welcoming and inclusive space. A special thank you for helping write the Innovation Challenge proposal for POCheese. I don’t think my senior year would have been as special without those weekly hangouts. Best of luck with house programming next year as House President!
