One thing that really bothers me is how much proships are normalised in Homestuck
Due to the fandom death (the period between 2016 and 2024/25) of homestuck , most of the people left , leaving alive a small portion of fans which 90% didnt read the comic and 10% did , leading to a wave of proships being accepted in the fandom and considered "rare pairs" the most popular of these : GamTav , JadeNep , Erisol , VrisFef, ect...

"But rosefield all of the ships you mentioned are with 2 minors what are you on about are you high?"

If you read homestuck you'd know that after the end of act 7 during the end credits [S]page we see a bunch of panels of what the Sburb survivors are doing post game , in which we see them celebrating June's 18th , 19th and 20th birthday .
Which should be a more than clear teller that all of the characters who survived up to that point should be 20 or 19 at least.
Those characters being :
Rose Lalonde , Roxy Lalonde, Dave Strider, Dirk Strider, Jake English, Jane Crocker, Jade Harley, June Egbert.
For the Trolls:
Kanaya Maryam, Terezi Pyrope, Karkat Vantas, Sollux Captor, Aradia Megido, Gamzee Makara (stuck in the fridge) and Vriska Serket (being implied to be still alive since Terezi is actively looking for her)

I hear you typing "Wilted you bum! Hussie said that these weren't canon! Why are you trying to trick us!?" That is true my dear reader however you forgot why they're considered not canon, Their canonicity has been dismissed because it clashes with how the epilogues start!
"But why would it matter the epilogues arent canon right? The fandom agrees they aren't right...?"
Well, when it comes to the canonicity of the Epiligues and Bc , the short answer is yes they're canon , the "dubious canonicity" that they hold comes from the story itself. Rose explains that in the literal second (number 2) page of the epilogues and how the timelines split.
So if you were to consider the end credit as not canon then you would have to consider the epilogues as canon because otherwise it would be cherry picking on what is canon and what is not, and that is quite childish and harmful.
