Ooof, Sarina Brewer. Feelings on her "art"?

I have mixed feelings about her and other rouge taxidermists. 

Unlike many, Brewer has proven that she can produce decent traditional taxidermy, though it's by no means perfect. Focusing on realism doesn't seem to be her strong suit, and given the kind of work she does, that's okay. But in a lot of her other pieces, it's evident that she's focusing more on the shock and awe reaction she'll draw from an audience than she is trying to do anything flattering for the animals.

I really like that you put “animal rights group” in quotes. There’s too many organizations that claim to help animals, but only exploit dramatizations to earn donations from worried animal lovers. :/

There are many organizations which have true animal rights in mind with their efforts and actions. But you're right - there are many, like PETA, who exploit shady means in order to get a larger following. These are the kinds of groups who spend more money on advertising and income than they do on actually aiding animals in need.
