It's not known how she got her name, but it probably has to do with the cold.

Wind Chill won her debut race at Cantebury, before coming in third in an Allowance two months later. She then went on a three race winning streak in Stakes races, winning the Louisiana Jewel Stakes, Louisiana Champions Day Lassie Stakes and finishing off the year victorious in the Louisiana Futurity.

As a three year old however, she hasn't had much luck. She had no wins in 2015, but did finished third in the LA Bred Premier Night Starlet Stakes,  Louisiana Champions Day Ladies Sprint Stakes and an allowance.

She is back for 2016 with three races under he belt, but no wins as of yet. She finished 2nd in an Allowance in February, and her most recent race was a 5th place finish in an Allowance on March 3rd.
