my current work in progresses:

windchill: this is my current main project. urban fantasy in a vaguely alternate uk english/welsh border town. theo st clare is the youngest son of an old and powerful arcane family who attempted to sacrifice him to an ancient evil but the ancient evil wouldn't take him, so he runs away with a stolen car, a large helping of scars and small tendancy to turn into a murderous wolf on the full moon. he washes up in the as yet unnamed town, where he runs into kit, a scrawny, messy, outgoing and protective vampire with badly bleached hair and too many piercings, who takes one look at terrified, battered theo and is like I Want This One. it's a m/m/nb/f poly romance with theo, kit, and nathan, kit's best friend and last living scion of the magic in the mountains, and lila, punk girl werewolf and daughter of the man trying to Steal the magic in the mountains. oh and theo's being tracked down by his evil magic family as a loose end. sure that's all fine !

terrible ghost detectives: working title. this is historical with magic victorian london holmes & watson style gay paranormal investigators. gilbert morris is a writer who witnessed his lover be killed by a monster in the thames and everyone refused to believe him so he wrecked his career and his life trying to find proof he isn't losing his mind, and at his lowest point he bumps into edward "ned" alcott, who's quietly trying to continue his family's legacy as ghost hunters despite being mildly agoraphobic (everyone thinks he's just rude, tho). gil is like Right this arsehole knows whats going on im going to Make him tell me!!!! and then they fight a ghost or something together and realise both Oh No We're a Good Team and Oh No, He's Hot. and the rest is history

1920s dragons lavender marriage: even more of a working title. lucinda "luke" locksley, an ex-war ambulance driver struggling to readjust to civilian life, finds herself staying with a house party at a spooky mansion in the depths of the countryside where she meets the largely disliked son of the household, lord joseph "jo" harrington. luke thinks he's stuck up and judgy. jo thinks she's headstrong and chaotic. in the course of discovering what evil experiments the harringtons have been involved in to create weapons of future war, they abscond with a dragon (in some way as yet undeterminded) along the way luke realises he's driven and honourable and jo realises she's brave and clever. havent quite decided what happens in the middle but they get lavender married and are best friends and have affairs together with various sexy morally complicated antagonists and that's the most important thing to know,

I believe I've already spoken of several Ancient Decepticons with forms observed by your kind to be cryptids, whose numbers included Heavytread and Abominus. Heavytread was active in the Pacific Northwest, where he inspired the legend of the Sasquatch before being captured and imprisoned by Crosswise. Abominus, meanwhile, was active in the Himalayas, where he menaced the indigenous tribes along with early 19th-century mountaineers. The duo had a brother, Stinkbomb, who was active in the southern United States. His acrid odor proved infamous, and inspired tales of the legendary "skunk ape".

They are by no means unique in the multiverse, however. Take the Mini-Con Windchill, who hindered the Rescue Bot Boulder and his human ally, Graham Burns, during an arctic rescue operation. His actions were more mischievous than malicious, and he eventually decided to stop aggravating them and instead help them in their efforts. Together, they saved a thaw-monitoring station from sliding into the ocean, and ultimately parted on amicable terms.

Photos from the weekend at Saints Rest Beach during the extreme cold warning. We were on our way out of town and noticed the sea smoke from the highway and decided to take a detour.
