It's another prompt event— the first of Heart x Horror is kicking off with its first annual instalment for February 2026. There's weekly or daily prompts to choose from and nothing is obligatory. All skill levels are welcome.

Heart-Shaped Box » Song themes. Use the whole song, the song titles, individual lyric snippets, or even just the vibes.
Iconography » Various notes of symbolism; their translation is entirely in your hands.
Theophagy » Sacramental consumption of God. What 'God' means within this context is down to what inspires you.
Folie á Deux » Madness of Two. Madness being interpreted however you see fit.
These prompts are for creators of all creeds. Artists, writers, poets— literally any form of creator can get involved. Embroidery, sculpture, collage etc, it all counts.

What does Heart x Horror mean?
It means whatever you want it to mean; make something beautiful, make something horrifying— both at the same time! It's all about expression.

Does this include NSFW?
Absolutely. All forms are permitted for this event. Yes, including sexual themes, gore, violence etc. Remember to curate your own experience; the block button is your friend if you see material you don't want to experience.

How many do I have to do?
As many as you want. You can do one, two, or all of them. There is no limit or minimum amount required to partipate.

Does this have to be original material only or can I make fanworks too?
Fan works are completely fine. OCs, canon characters, self-expression— it's all valid.

Do I pick titles or numbers?
Either and/or any. If you want to do "Heart-Shaped Box" and then a song from that section, that's fine. If you want to do only titles, that's fine too. No titles, only numbered prompts? That's fine also.

Absolutely. My ask box is open. Please do not tag me directly in posts featuring creations, as I will be tracking the tag. You also don't need to confine yourself to posting in February; you can post as and when you like, but the event will be 'active' in its allotted month.

Anyway, Kindling 3 is 14k and growing, with the end in sight. Hoping to get the full draft done this weekend. Which is made easier by the SHEER ADRENALINE OF BEING THIS CLOSE TO THE FINISH. It is literally in sight, I can scroll down and see the end of my outline.
one of the most traditional and important phases of the kindling is a light show performed by each of them using their flame and doing a sort of “graceful” dance, though if one of them isn’t a candle, this could lead to the other partner finding another creative way to share this phase of their bonding.
