I got a 4 min long video of Kimchi dreaming today, so here's a clip
You get the whole walk cycle and the little sprint at the end.
Sometimes her sprints last for like 4 or 5 seconds and she can shoot herself off the couch or into a wall if she gets a grip with her back claws. If she does it next to a wall, her head smacking into it sounds like someone is trying to break into the house. She doesn't wake up.
Later in the dream she injured her paw and was limping, and earlier she caught something and ate it.
sometimes I think back to reading tawny man and it feels like I was there. like haha that was so crazy when we were all in the pale woman’s ice prison. do you guys remember that. real thing that happened to all of us
I love characters who are like "I'm a terrible person" but when you look closer it's more like
"I adapted to survive something and now I don't know how to stop being that version of myself."
He stumbled around me, and slammed the front door, locking and bolting it. Then he looked at me, shoved his staff into my hands, and began to push a small cabinet from the hallway across the door, clearly for my benefit.
//
Ned strode across the courtyard below me, and the very darkness seemed to wilt before his towering rage, dressing gown seeming as regal as any ancient priest’s robes.
i couldn't find a way to work it in but it IS crucial that everyone knows that ned forgets he put the cabinet in front of the door between letting gilbert in and then going out to deal with the spectre that was chasing him. so part of the reason he's pissed as hell when going outside is that his enemies were trying to use gilbert to track him down, and part of it is that he shinned himself really badly on the cabinet 😭
laughing to myself about this again because im writing a lil ned pov between-cases short and it's so important that in gilbert's accounts, ned is a bit awkward and standoffish for sure but ultimately Cool. gilbert just thinks ned is really cool and that sooo colours his narration of him. whereas in NED'S pov, he is just lurching from one disaster to another, trying and failing to keep all the plates spinning and generally embodying one of those ducks that's chill on top but paddling crazy style under the water 😭 he is a man constantly stubbing his toe on the chair leg of the world
just a little sex

Kermit: Oh, oh, uh... well, fine. Listen, after these messages we’ll be back with a lot of great funny sketches and, and some neat songs... hm, and, and maybe some sex-
Yellow Muppet: What?
Kermit, reassuringly: Hm? Well, just a little sex-
My final piece for @novaandmali and @dames-zine's new artbook: My Liege. There are still a few hours left to support this project on kickstarter!
I saw this and had to save this image cause I definitely have a few readers like this.
do you remember why you followed prev
yes :)
no :)
They make me phisically ill I can't stand it. Just finished the Farseer Trilogy and already miss them horribly :_)
Anyways read these books, they definetly won't cause any emotional damage
getting characters into world-endingly intense codependent queerplatonic relationships is literally what life is all about. it is literally what we were put here on this earth to do
having a victorian literature summer btw
um. borrowbox. i can't help but notice that this does not seem to be the correct cover for 1859 wilkie collins gothic novel the woman in white and in fact seems to be the cover for an entirely unrelated book called the women in white...?
Growing up, older folks would always get confused when I expressed familiarity with media from their childhoods and would act incredulous when I attempted to explain the concept of reruns. They'd be like "How do you, a child of this fallen era, know of Looney Tunes" and I'd be like "Because it has never not been playing on television" and this would seem to be brand new information to them
i think having a little dragon i could carry around in my pockets would fix all my problems
