what are ur favorite ninjago ships??

Uhhh lemme think, Glacier, Samuraishipping, uhh Frozengear (I think??? that IS Dr. Julien x the previous EM of Ice right??), Futureshipping (@/s0l0b0d0r makes rlly cute content of them and they got me into it!!!), Hotwire, Arsonshipping, Raincloud (@/parachutingkitten made a rlly good video abt them here. also took me a long time to realize her outfit was Vania-inspired gfigjfkgj), Scruffshipping (it's a given, c'mon guys), Survivalshipping, Garmaclouse (shit name btw, should be called Shadowmagic if I'm being honest), Councilshipping (more of a crackship but STILL), and uhhh I can't think of any more atm.

HOWEVER, in terms of OC x Canon, Ari (@/drowsydregon) takes the cake with their ship of Yuuki x Morro (I forgor the name sorry Ari fdnkgfjbkjtgn). I also like @/general-yasur's Heroshipping, it's so sweet and wholesome and cute!!!

I don't know if anyone has ever asked this before, but how would Yuuki and Wu interact?

Like do they have a friendly relationship or is it just like "oh you're dating my son cool for you"?

heh, it's funny tho, but i've never thought too deeply into the type of dynamic that wu and yuuki would have

wu would be fond of yuuki and supportive of her and morro as a couple since yuuki basically gave morro a second chance at life and was completely supportive of them as they found their footing without the green ninja OR master of wind identities. something that wu was never able to correct on his own because of the circumstances, but is grateful it's been done nonetheless

but as for how they would actually play off of each other on a one-to-one interaction, and how overall the relationship looks like in real time, i'm not entirely sure :"D

OKAY SO THIS IS A GOOD QUESTION

and one that becomes a bit tricky to answer when u actually consider the consequences of the merge. so let's play with some scenarios here

so as it stands my fanseasons take place between "MotM" and "The Island"

and morro (as well as mei) get revived by the end of recollection

and i kinda toy with how to proceed based on whether or not morro ends up showing up in the DR era of the show. which im not sure the likelihood. I'd have to make my best guess based on how they handle the departed/cursed realm and euphrasia, which is being set up and is bound to be answered at some point

mostly bc the fanseasons have to be canon complicit and if morro shows up in his ragged gi all ghosty like it kinda throws a wrench into my fanseasons

so let's assume that morro never shows up in DR era, bc id need to see how the show plays things out before I can guesstimate how yuuki and morro meet under different circumstances

I'd like to imagine that chen's island (like most of mainland ninjago) remained where it is. and things were initially,, , relatively the same but definitely some weird quirks as an after affect of such a colossal event

HOWEVER now that there's new sources of magic, exotic magic from other realms, the haven rattlers have had citizens form groups of striders that travel to the different realms to learn about the new cultures and forms/sources of magic

yuuki and morro are still in charge of looking after their people, so they're managing the day to day affairs and tracking where different groups end up. but occassionally they enjoy traveling to new areas to see for themselves the types of magic conjured from other realms. and they've managed to use the striders to establish relations with some of the realms

so, even after all these years, the two are just curiously exploring the world together and making sure things run smoothly c:

it's likely that morro asked yuuki to be their yang sometime in those years too 👀

currently i don't have designs for them, but i'd like to at some point. if not for them, then at least mei, cause currently mei would be the same age as arin and sora. so she's a bit bigger now !! :0
