TECHNOLOGY SUPPORT WILL END FROM MICROSOFT ON APRIL 8TH 2014!!!! I have attached a link to the official Microsoft page which gives a useful guide and breakdown of what this will mean for you, your computer and what you should do. If you do not use this software, your support will NOT be effected!
Your XP and office 2003 will STILL WORK, however, you will not receive any more updates or support from Microsoft for this software!
Microsoft are constantly moving forward to provide you with the optimum experience possible.
Click on the link for more information or do not hesitate to ask me any questions you may have about this :)
[WINDOWS 8] Print Screen - Metro Apps
Hey guys,
The new metro interface in Windows handles screenshots a little differently. If you want to take a screen shot press the "Windows Key" (Bottom Right of keyboard) and the "Print Screen" (Prt Sc) (Top Right)
This will take a screen shot and save it to the folder:
C:\User\"Your Name"\Pictures\Screenshots
There are loads of reasons why screenshots are useful:
Something funny happened in a game
You want to record a conversation you are having (Facebook App)
You need help troubleshooting.
You want to help someone solve their problem (A picture is worth 1000 words right!)
List goes on!
The past few days....
Apologies for the lack of blogging the past few days but unfortunately I have been in and out of hospital with a bad kidney infection, but i'm feeling around 1394393942849448941014711 times better now (yes, that is a LOT better!) Currently i'm uploading through the massive sea of paper trials I have accumulated the past month! I know i've only got myself to blame for leaving them so last minute, but i'm getting there!
Also the Xbox One has proved to be a massive hit! Released at the end of last week it has asserted the fact that Microsoft knows how to make a world class games console, by the end of the first day I saw that Aberystwyth's Game store had already sold out! Here is a really good article I was reading today about the amazing news that Xbox One has BEAT the Xbox 360 sales figures! Fantastic news for Microsoft and team Xbox!

[Windows Phone] Get money for your photos!
Recently got my 1020, with the whooping 41 Mega Pixel cam!
What to do with a phone that can take such awesome shots? Take some amazing shots and make some money of course while you're doing it! (PicHit.Me)
Find the whole story here but basically this is how it works:
Some one is doing a presentation on roses
They want photos of roses from legit sources to use in the presentation
Enter PicHit.Me: client asks for roses and PicHit.Me puts out a mission.
Go out, snap some shots of roses, upload, and provided they are any good/are used you get paid!
Each job/mission will have different rewards, so pic do the ones that sound right to you!
Sounds pretty Epic right? I just found the App the other day so haven't uploaded any pics yet but can't wait to start!
Find it here: http://www.windowsphone.com/en-us/store/app/pichit-me/50235b63-e369-4669-a9e3-44090e807d65?signin=true

[WINDOWS 8.1] New tiles sizes!!
Hey guys,
A little change to 8.1 that has made a huge difference, the new sizes for the tiles! You now have a Small tile (1x1), the Medium tile from before (2x2), Wide (2x4) and Large (4x4).
The small tiles are great for those programs you want to access fast but don't need constant live data from. (IE, Camera, Maps, etc)
The new Large tiles are brilliant for the Apps that deliver important info. For example: The old wide news tile would show 1 story, now you can have 3, keep you up to date on current affairs you might be interested it. Those important information apps basically have a lot more real estate which is great!
Bellow are a few of my favourite to have in Large size:
If you update to 8.1 I think this is one of the first things you should do! The space on your start screen will be put to much better use and it will look amazing!
Here's how you go about resizing tiles:
Hold down (for touch) / right clock (for mouse) the tiles you want to resize.
Options will appear on the bottom of the screen.
Click the resize and choose
TOP TIP: You can select more than one tile to resize at a time!
If you're a little OCD like this post will keep you busy for a while, until you find that perfect start screen that works just right for you :D
This is Xavi signing out!
