Me and my summer camp horses 💜
I super loved this horse camp. You got assigned a horde for the week and in the morning you got to groom it and tack it up and then ride it. Lovely camp horses too, perfectly content to trot along the rail while tiny child sorted out how to post. Remington, the bay horse always had to be tapped with the crop to trot, but I’m pretty sure that’s just because my legs were too small. And then in the afternoon we got to do horse related crafts including decorating horse shoes with a picture of us and our horse for the week. We also got to tie dye a camp shirt. At the end of the week we got to paint a white horse with colors and then all sit on him bareback. It really was the most delightful
