Mole should have never mentioned anything about his hair being down.
🎼 (wineandsay)
Send 🎼 to witness my muse singing to themselves
It wasn't often for him to go out onto the balcony, leaning against the railing. Often it was too cold to bother but even though there was a light snow falling from the heavens, sparkling faintly in the dying light of the setting sun, Gregory doesn't move. Instead he stands there, loose blond curls shifting in the occasional breeze.
Weather like this made him melancholy, made him remember things that were probably left in the past. But really, he couldn't help his own mind. Behind him, one of his cats watches from the open double doors that led out to where he was. It was fine... there was no carpet in that room or anything. It's while he's there, thinking quietly... that a familiar tune pops into his head, heart aching.
"... Remember me, though I have to say goodbye Remember me, don't let it make you cry..."
In his head, he can hear another voice singing alongside his own. Of course he can... it was 'their' song. A song shared when missions were especially long and separating. It was sung before either left and Gregory remembers many lonely nights singing it to himself, wondering if it was also being sung miles off. Often times, he hoped it was.
"For even if I'm far away I hold you in my heart I sing a secret song to you Each night we are apart Remember me... Though I have to travel far Remember me Each time you hear a sad guitar..."
wineandsay: i know i ruined your life
And immediately everything freezes. The scratching of Gregory's pen upon paper coming to a halt almost instantly as he stares dead on at the writing.
"... Excuse me?"
Slowly, those eyes lift up to fix upon Mole. The pen set down and hands pressing against the desk as he stands, his chair giving a whimpering creak from the movement as if it knows the storm that is coming.
"Pray tell... HOW did you 'ruin' my life, Christophe?"
Tread lightly, Mole. Tread lightly.
Someone hitting on Gregory again? That's nothing new at this point, but that didn't mean Christophe was having it. Gregory was quite a popular guy in South Park. Aside from all the money he seems to have inherited from his family, the guy was pretty good-looking too, and even Christophe had to admit to himself that his own friend was quite good-looking, although Christophe often denied that he thought his own friend was good-looking and much more handsome than he is. Part of him wanted to leave it be if someone was trying to make a move on Gregory... But part of Christophe also felt he should step in and say something. Gregory can handle himself though, so why bother?
But wait. What if... What if Gregory wanted to forget about Christophe and move on? Gregory should have done that long ago though... And Christophe didn't deserve him... He knew that deep down Gregory didn't deserve someone like Christophe. Yet now that Christophe has been back in South Park, though tended to keep a low profile, despite how he has been staying with his friend that is practically a millionaire, part of him wanted to be more than a friend to him. He was so afraid of even admitting that to him though.
Enough about thinking himself and his feelings. Christophe wasn't having it today! While holding tightly onto his shovel, he angrily approached Gregory and the other individual.
"Am I interrupting something important?" He asks, also putting on a fake smile with a hint of possibly wanting to hurt someone. "If this discussion is so important that you have to get so close to this British bastard here, then you can count me in too since I'm also working for him." Although Christophe wasn't exactly working for Gregory, but since he did tend to do most of the yard work, also making the food, and helping keep the place clean, Christophe could consider himself working for the British man if he wanted to.
(wineandsay. THIS WAS NOT MEANT TO BE LONG GSDTVKSRKBVSRBVKRAVTR)
The truth is that Gregory cannot stand most of the people that flirt with him. The problem with having money was that a lot of the attention you drew was fake as hell. Fake compliments, fake smiles, fake flirting. All of it just a cover for greedy hands pawing in the direction of his wallet. The one he's locked in conversation had caught him by surprise and now he was stuck here, stuck by the curse of polite conversation.
God, kill him please because it's been fifteen minutes.
And it's not God that answers his silent plea but, ironically enough, Mole. The brunet forcibly interjecting himself into the situation and being more than a little threatening. It gets an owlish blink from blue eyes and a nervous expression from the one that had been pestering Gregory for the last few minutes.
Suddenly they mention something they should be dealing with and practically flee the room. Silence for 1, 2, 3 beats before Gregory utters a sigh of relief.
"Jesus... Thank you, Mole."
A wild Mole sees somebody trying to make a move on his Gregory! Whatever shall the Mole do?
A: Leave them be
B: Grab the shovel
C: Give that stare of death to the stranger hitting on Gregory
The Mole proceeds to grab his shovel. But what does he do with it? He just grips very tightly onto it while also giving the stranger that deadly glare of judgement and maybe jealousy. One more movement that stranger makes and the Mole will...
Not even smack the stranger upside the head with the shovel.
The Mole proceeds to just stare from a distance and tries to pay no mind to whatever move the stranger wants to make on his Gregory. He then pouts and goes back to digging a hole.
(wineandsay)
Uh oh! Your character is watching mine get hit on and is feeling possessive. How does your character handle this?
Being flirted with is not a new thing for Gregory. At least, it's not exactly something he's a stranger to. His looks combined with his wealth was something that always attracted many fish to the hook, even though he wasn't fishing. Frankly, it was annoying because it was all the same: Fools just trying to bite the hook to get in on that sweet, sweet status and money.
It bored him. This girl was boring him just as much.
"..." any answers given are basic and bored in nature, stale and uninterested and yet that doesn't seem to get the point across.
But then something does. She seems spooked, nervously glancing over the blond's shoulder. Next thing he knows, she's made an excuse for herself and leaves, moving at a semi-rapid pace.
"Huh... odd."
"I am perfectly capable of walking on my own!" He says as he makes an attempt to move a few steps but ends up just tripping like an idiot. (wineandsay for the illness/injury meme)
He watches Mole go down with a thud. Gregory didn't exactly like to see him hurt but if he was going to be a stubborn ass, he needed to learn. Calmly he walks over and leans over to look down at him.
"... Are you done being stubborn?"
A hesitant forehead kiss (Different ways to kiss someone meme from wineandsay)
Different ways to kiss meme;; Accepting
A soft smile slowly curls its way onto Gregory's lips at this, a soft but content sigh leaving his lips.
Quietly, he reaches up to coax Mole into tilting his head and returns the gesture with a kiss to the forehead himself.
That is all
--wineandsay XD
... Well, okay, he glances up for a little bit.
