This is a jigsaw puzzle from my childhood. 40-50 years ago I used to do it with my brother, mom and grandmother. This summer we (@georgcaching and me) were in the Alsace and we searched for the location of the puzzle in Keysersberg and we found it! A bit greener but it definitely was the same location. As I promised today I will continue the series of hungarian wines and tonight it is the last post from Villany. 🍇 I saved Mr. Jozsef Bock's winery @bock_wine_estate for last to give a great end of the Villanyi winemakers list.👌 Probably I tasted the most wines🍷 from him as we stayed 2 nights in his hotel where we had this amazing Riesling with such similarity to the Mosel ones, light, crisp citrusy🍋 aromas with great freshness and long finish, a good food wine. And on the Franc&Franc seminar we tasted wines from older vintages and the superstar🌟 was that 100% Cabernet Franc from 1993! Still lively with obviously tertiary aromas of dried herbs and fruits🍒 with spices and a good acidity with smooth tannins. He started to make quality wines in the late '80s and contributed a great deal to make Cabernet Franc the flagship 🚩variety of Villány. As like in Hungary they are working with more or less a dozen grape 🍇varieties which means a great selection of wines in the cellar and in the wine store from them. I highly recommend to taste their wines to have a good picture of what is that region is capable of giving to the world of wine! Have you tasted one of them already?
