Wingedinnit au, phil teaches him to fly by throwing him off a cliff, because we as a fandom need to remember that phil is just as chaotic as his kids. There's a long silence, and wilbur just goes "...dad, how big is this cliff?"

"Really fuckin' big, i'll tell you that, will."

Techno pipes up, "and... what if he dies?"

"He won't die!"

Wilbur's looking a lot paler now. "Dad, he hasn't flown yet."

"He'll get the hang of it," phil assures him. "Trust me, i was just like this on my first flight. If he just angles himself right, and he manages to open up his wings, then i'm sure he'll be able to– okay yeah he's doomed"

Phil then dives off the cliff and grabs tommy before he can get hurt. Tommy is barely fazed. Wilbur is on the verge of a panic attack. Techno looks mildly concerned. Phil just laughs and says "ah, well. Maybe next time!"

Phil is chaotic and I love him for it. This is the greatest and this is hilarious. Just fucking throws him off the cliff as a way to teach him how to fly.

Oh boy that’s sad. That’s sad and heartwarming at the same time. Tommy appreciates the thought at least.

(Context: Dream literally cut off Tommy’s wings)

Dear lord. Oh my god please help this child. There’s going to be so much distraught from Tommy when/if he recovers.

Dream keeping the wings as a trophy? God. That’s sick. Oh my god.

Tommy does not like Phil and honestly that’s valid of him. Phil is a bad dad in canon and he’s not going to become like Phil.

Wingedinnit– tommy regularly forgets that he has wings. One time he got knocked from a tower and it was a freefall for a good five seconds before he realised "...oH WAIT I HAVE WINGS" and managed to fly to safety.

Pfft. Just forgets that he has wings for a little while before getting to safety.

Wingedinnit hc where Quackity shows Tommy some cool (but very reckless and dangerous) maneuvers he can do while flying and when Tommy shows Philza the poor old man almost has a heart attack because what the fuck are those why the fuck would you do that you're going to get yourself killed oh my god-

What if Dream didn't stop at Tommy's wings though? What if he saw two other winged members of the smp and decided he wanted a bigger collection... fucked up shit but perfect hurt/comfort potential amongst Tommy, Phil and Quackity (maybe even Wilbur... 👀)

Oh oh oh. I hate that. That makes it worse. That sucks. Dream sucks. Especially today. Oh god that makes this so much worse.

Just arriving at the server at first and Quackity goes and flies a bit maybe somewhere after L’Manberg is first blown up and Dream comes in and says no :) and just snips his wings off. That would definitely go and get some loathing from Quackity there.

Then Phil comes along and Dream knows the man and is like “Snip snip!” and now Phil is left without his wings and just now has a severe loathing for the man. Maybe like post-Doomsday because I doubt Techno and Phil would work with Dream after that. Before they would have done it reluctantly but if that happened pre-Doomsday then Techno would go and kill Dream right there.

Oh god just imagine that Tommy and Tubbo are being dragged by Dream throughout the vault of things and you just see a little display case that says “Wings” and it just shows all three pairs of the wings. Tommy and Tubbo almost threw up when they saw it.

Quackity when he arrives with the rest of the crew is just horrified by this. And at some point someone tells Phil and he doesn’t even want to go there to see it.

They all just comfort each other afterwards about them getting their wings cut off and man they just go and do some hurt/comfort.

Dear lord we can make this hurt/comfort and angst.

Winged! Tommy bringing Phil his wings after they leave the vault. It... Would go interesting...

It would be a rather tense conversation to say the least. Tommy still hasn’t forgiven Phil for helping destroy L’Manberg but he knows that no one deserves to have their wings ripped away from them.

So he goes and sends a letter to Techno and Phil and makes them meet up in a neutral territory. 

Tommy then goes and explains about the trophy room and how Dream just had a glass case displaying all their wings and that Tommy was there to return it to Phil.

If we doing Maleficent style then we have Tommy just slowly showing that he has his wings back and get the relief of Phil getting his wings back.

If we doing none of that then we get just a quiet thank you from Phil and then they go their separate ways. Phil might try to say something before shaking his head and walking away.

Wingedinnit: Since Phil was barely around, it was primarily Wilbur who would help Tommy with preening and wing maintenance when he was younger, and although Tommy would complain about him being a mother hen, it was still one of Wilbur's favorite things to do together. There's even a line in his "Things I Remember Book" that says: The feeling of soft feathers under my fingers, laughter. Nobody can really put that one together unless you knew the two of them really well.

It is beautiful and fluffy at first, then we remember that Wilbur died and then we cry. This hurts. At least Ghostbur remembers it. That means it was a good memory. :)
