Being an angel without wings is weird to me. I don’t know how wings work. I can’t, like, imagine them, because I don’t know how the muscles interact with the tendons and ligaments. I can’t feel it. But, I’ve come to accept it, yeah? There’s some community within other wingless angels.

Ok, I’m still reeling over Rastion and the fact that he’s the first wingless angel that isn’t a corpse somewhere.

I’ll try to dig a bit more into this guy’s lore/design if I can find any.

New Chapter: The Era of the Wingless Angel (42/43)

Chapter 42: Rainbow

Word Count: ~6100

Summary:  Dan doesn't have the reaction to Phil's proposal that he expected to have. This is going to require some self-reflection.

CW: Pretty nasty verbal argument, brief death mentions, a short bit of a CBT/talk therapy session.

So the funny thing is, this chapter was mostly written within about 2 days of the last one going up, but I hated it. I went out & got some inspiration and then came back to it though and I like it much better now! Which is not to say I don't still find it incredibly flawed, but I feel like Dan isn't as confusing now.

Thanks, as always, for your patience. The next chapter is the last one. :) Hopefully it won't take me too long to upload it, but... we'll see.
