I’m pretty sure Delwyn is being sarcastic, because he often uses hyperbole when he’s talking about Andy’s mannerisms and habits. It’s one of his most common tactics. Andy definitely isn’t channeling anything.

I understand exaggeration/sarcasm, but it really came out of nowhere.

I mean, it would be one thing if Andy written something like, "The Hunger Games are real now," which could be a metaphor but with his history might raise some red flags. That's the sort of thing that I'd be double-checking on, you know?

However, he wrote, "I have seen several posts and not known until I saw recognizable actors if it was from The Hunger Games or I Am Legend or some other post apocalyptic thing or from Ferguson, New York, Mexico, etc. [...] Say what you will about life imitating art, but if THAT is the kind of art we’re imitating, so much is terribly wrong."

He just mentioned Hunger Games in passing and refers to it as "art." So it seems pretty clear that he's comparing something fictional with something real. And he hasn't mentioned Hunger Games a lot recently or anything like that. He's actually been talking more about the DAYDverse. So, no, it's not happening, but it's like "Where did that come from?"

Or the live-drawing you've seen him do? Or the body-paint art? Or the costumes? Like, it's three-dimensional art?!?!? 

Some of his pieces from pre-2012 look traced or show an over-reliance on references to me, but they've been ignoring his more recent art I guess because it doesn't fit in their narrative

Honestly, I don't like to talk about people behind their backs or try to figure out what they're thinking or feeling without asking them first.

I just got a taste of it when I interviewed Andy, and I was surprised by how strong my emotional reaction to it was. I expected backlash and insults, which I got, and I expected that I would be made fun of and dismissed to some degree, and I expected these things to upset me a little but not to the point that I didn't feel like it was worth it.

I was right, but I didn't anticipate how I would react to the analysis of my character and personality. I felt violated. I felt like others - strangers - were intruding on me in a way that they had no right to do. I had no idea that I would react to it that way. Honestly? It felt as intrusive as being sexually harassed by a coworker or having something sexually explicit and disgusting shouted to me on the street by an unseen stranger. I know what that feels like.

I can't really explain it rationally. Maybe this is what it feels like to have your diary photo-copied and distributed. Maybe that's how celebrities feel when paparazzi take pictures of them with a long lens or some "friends" leak private pictures of them. I know that I developed a new sense of respect and compassion for Andy (as I told him) and anyone else who is constantly dissected online. It must hurt.

I hadn't felt that kind of anger since - well, since one of my coworkers tried to literally twist my arm to get me to date him. That's not how I react to insults or put-downs; that's how I react to threatening intrusions into my space. I'm a fight-when-I'm-cornered type. 

That's why my response to Delwynmarch's "analysis" was so profanity-laden - I was mad enough to spit nails. 

Wings-andgrace hasn't even been accused of hurting anybody else; she isn't "fair game" because she hangs out with somebody you dislike. The same goes for Andy's relatives, his friends and people he meets by chance. (I've seen all of them scrutinized and analyzed by this crowd and I'd link to examples but I don't want to spread that crap further.)

Don't know if it's of any import, but I'm open to being interviewed if you're interested in any of the events of the last year. I've been contacted by others before. I've been around Andy the most since last August. Though I'm not too confident on how much anyone will trust my word.

I wouldn't worry about that as long as you are truthful. I don't want anyone to be in a position where they feel like they are being pressured into talking about something that they don't feel like - if you don't want to answer a question, you can just say, "I'd rather not answer that," and that's the end of it.

The bigger problem I've had is that people have said that they're willing to talk to me in private but not in public because they are afraid of being trolled or harrassed, and I have seen that happen to people. All I can do is ask for anons to refrain from doing this. It's not helpful at all.
