Hello everybody,
You may have heard of the Wings for Life World Run.
If not, you should have, because, in my opinion, it’s a great race.
First of all,
there is NO FINISH LINE, you run until the catcher car catches you. It’s totally up to you and how long you can keep up. (There’s also a calculator which helps you figure out how far you can get.)
Second of all, it’s a “world” wide race, and every location starts at the exact same time (11am UTC) which makes it even more awesome.
Even if there is no run in your neighbourhood or country, you still can take part.
The virtual race can be participated in by downloading the app for the Wings For Life Selfie Run, where a virtual catcher car is chasing you.( iOS or Android )
Everybody can take part no matter if you’re in a wheelchair or running or simply walking.
And the best part :
100% of the entry fees goes directly to spinal cord research !
