Ah shit here we go again

Idk how many of you remember my last foray into music but I made another one!

This one's a lot more of a sea shanty/drunken sailor thing than a hymn but hey, I think it's catchy! (Still none of my singing, you're welcome!)

been binge watching Wings lately and I have some serious Beef with helen I do not like her character one bit

like seriously. when you:

-ram your JEEP into your ex’s OFFICE just because he broke up with you (after YOU didn’t contact him for almost a FULL ASS YEAR…… )TWICE

-fake marry the sweetest character on the show and act like him wanting to cook for you and keep a low profile around the house to make you more comfortable with the new living situation is the absolute worst thing that’s ever happened to you like. ma’am. antonio is a sweetie pie and he’s just out here trying his best & you’re acting like you don’t even like being in his presence. I wouldn’t bang him either but look into those puppy dog eyes and tell me you wouldn’t commit manslaughter to protect that man

-and. icing on the cake. not even a full season after the jeep incident you act like you’ve never broken things out of anger and felt relief from it.

…you are not a good person (character).

Finally I can post this!!!

A week or so ago, there was a conversation in the Community of Hyrulean Faiths discord server about Zelda Hymn parodies. (A v chill server. Would 100% recommend for anyone interested in LoZ inspired Faith/Practice)

This set off a week-long brainworm about in-universe LoZ Hymns.

So I now present to you:

This is half fun hyperfixation project, and half devotional practice on my part.

Working with Chaos, the Primordial Void

Disclaimer: THIS IS ALL UPG! I am not an authority figure, this is just my personal experience.

It can be really difficult.

Mostly bc there's so little information about them out there. (Theoi is fine enough but it has its shortfalls)

And working with the embodiment of disorder and darkness is... tough sometimes.

But it is so rewarding.

Chaos has helped me accept change in my life, for better or worse. All things must transform and so I must change with it. They have seen me through some of the hardest times in my life, showing me that I can still affect positive change, despite all the negativity happening around me.

I am a person that likes order. I like when things are predictable and go as they have always gone. However, sometimes that order is detrimental. Chaos helped me see that some orders and habits are harmful more than helpful. By abandoning these and embracing the chaos as something new is made, I have made better decisions.

The other deities I honour are wonderful. They all bring something so unique to my life and to my practice. But it is Chaos I honour first in the morning and last at night. It is Chaos I think of first when I feel the wind or sit in the darkness. It is Chaos I call my Patron.

Glory to Chaos, the Void from which All Things were formed.

May we meet again.

Lady Hylia, Goddess of Light,

I bring myself before you as one seeking to overcome the past.

Hello hello! First post on the new blog!

An intro post of sorts exists but figured this should come first. (I've been a lurker in this community for so long you guys have no idea)

Of course, as with everything I'm gonna post, things can be changed to suit your practice! If you wanna use this, please do, but you can chop and change to fit your needs.

Hopefully this blog will help me be a bit more regular with my own practice bc burnout has been hitting badly. (no promises though /lh)

Had a dream about Lord Apollo the other night

I was captured and shackled by this other entity that took me away to its home. While I had free reign of the city, the entity could track where I was at all times.

After walking around for a bit, I came across a small temple. When I went in, Lord Apollo was in there. I bowed to him and he smiled at me.

He told me that he had a way out for me, but that I had to remove the shackle by myself first.

It reminded me that while prayer and devotion have their place, deities and other beings cannot do everything for us and that we have to put the work in ourselves.

Thank you, Lord Apollo, for your wisdom and guidance.

this show is so bizarre. the brothers spend a whole ass season acting like creeps to this very lesbian-coded character and in the season finale she goes out with one of them like he wasn’t drooling over her playboy pics or guessing her measurements or lying to try to get her out on a date for the past however many months the show takes place over
