Winter Burn & Cozy Treats: A Perfect Combo!
After clearing old brush and fire hazards this summer, winter offers the ideal, stress-free time for burning. With snow all around, it's safer and more enjoyable. Plus, why not make it fun? Add hot chocolate, roast hot dogs, and toast marshmallows by the fire to make the day even better! ❄🔥🍫
Okay, the seed catalogs have been arriving, the snow blanketed and then was gone 36 hours later, and we have some wind. And that's just this last week. I spend a significant amount of time pondering garden clean-up and spring planting. I will have to redo a long soaker hose all down the left side of the yard because it has irreparable leaks. The winter weeds there are dreadful due to late summer flooding giving everything a boost. That whole right side of fencing will be replaced/repaired/something this year. After the neighbors redid their yard, they scraped it down to below-grade of ours and it completely messed up the fence. And they broke the gate on that side when they tore the old house down. Next up, sawing the pile of trim and the patio zone.
Finally got on tumblr through my laptop, it's been ages. Did a massive unfollowing of deactivated blogs and people who stopped fucking with this.
