IMMACULATE ANIME!!
Winter Cup Materials I love using the Immaculate designs for Anime. I think it looks better with it.
Jordan Chiles wins the all-around title at the 2021 Winter Cup, the first US elite competition since March 2020. She scored a total of 57.050.
Akashi saying I love you for the first time. After the winter cup game
(MANY UWU! Precious man!)
You were shocked to say the least, but then again, Rakuzan and Akashi needed a taste of their own medicine. Well, losing at least. You believed, from the beginning, that Seirin winning would be a good thing, especially for Akashi.. Now that all of this had become a reality, you wondered about how Akashi was feeling, more than the rest of the team.
You were waiting for Rakuzan outside of their locker room, but were sure to stand on the opposite wall as to not to seem intrusive when they all exited. When they did, you caught sight of Akashi, but couldn't bring yourself to approach him for some reason...
The other's had caught sight of you and would usually give you a small hello, but they weren't in the mood for niceties right now. This was still devastating. So you just waited there, thinking of how to approach Akashi.
But you didn't have time to do that, not before you heard a familiar voice.
"Y/n, are you alright? You're just standing here." Akashi was right in front of you, pulling you from your thoughts.
"A-Akashi-kun..." You stiffened slightly, not expecting him to something as bold as to speak to you first, "I was waiting for you. I wanted to see how you...well, how you were." you spoke shyly. What happened then surprised you.
Akashi chuckled.
"It's not quite the end of the world, but I can't deny I'm not extremely upset." He replied. Your eyes widened when you noticed how calm his expression was, and well...his eyes, they were different.
"Oh. I see." You tried not to stare, but he practically held your gaze hostage. Though you didn't feel like you were in the presence of an Emperor anymore, just in the presence of a friend.
"Would you mind coming with me, y/n?" Akashi asked. You relaxed and nodded, a small smile spreading across your face-Akashi proceeding to motion for you to follow him with his head as he turned and began walking. You, pf course, followed him.
The two of you ended up outside, face chilled in the cold winter air. You ended up somewhere quiet, just outside of the arena.
"I wanted to tell you something." Akashi was quick to speak when the two of you stopped, facing each other, "I don't have the kind of pride you've known me to have. So I can finally say it."
His words took you a moment to process. The pride he used to have? Was this what you had noticed? You knew he had changed-even from the stands, you could almost feel it. You and Akashi had been as close as you could be. Though the definition of being "close" to Akashi was different to close than any other.
"Okay, well, what is it?" Your nerves began to get the best of you as your anticipation grew.
Akashi reached up to caress the side of your face with only his fingers, but he didn't say anything. Your eyes widened and you shifted your eyes to his hand. When you looked back, Akashi's eyes hadn't left your face. You blushed.
"Ah, sorry." Akashi interrupted the silence and cupped your cheek, closing in on you, though you were already close to begin with. You felt the hair on the back of your neck stand up before Akashi finally said what he had been meaning to.
"I love you, y/n."
The look in his eyes was something you couldn't describe with just one word. It was sweet, romantic, passionate. All you could feel was safe. and of course, the tightness in your chest. Never in a hundred years would you think he'd ever utter those words. It's not that you thought he was incapable, but...he just didn't seem the type.
"You do?" Was all you said. You didn't know how to reply at first, but you did know you felt the same. You just had to say it aloud.
His red eyes were unmoving as he kept his focus. You were the only thing that mattered to him. He wasn't even thinking about what had happened earlier that evening.
"I do, yes. I'm sorry if that's too-."
"No! It's not. I love you too."
You interrupted him in a small panic. He blinked quickly in surprise, as if he hadn't expected it...which he didn't. The other Akashi would have heard those words and thought nothing of it, but this was the Akashi you had been waiting for all this time.
"I'm glad." He replied, taking ahold of the other side of your face, causing you to nearly swoon. But that would be a bit much. You just swallowed and bit your lip lightly.
"May I kiss you?" He spoke again, this time with the most wonderful of questions. You took in a soft breath through your nose when you heard those words. It was a little too easy to answer.
"Y-Yes please." You replied, not trying to sound too eager.
Akashi didn't spend a moment waiting before his lips met yours, one of his hands moving to the back of your head. It was quite passionate considering it was your first kiss, but it was more than you could have asked for...and you meant that in a good way.
This was no Emporor, this was a gentle king.
I've been reading the knb manga
and wakamatsu's expressions are always the best.
“The parallel bars at the Winter Cup sounded so rattly and it was making me nervous for the athletes”
