after she gave birth to her daughter, after getting her divorce finalized, after moving, she really is trying to just . . . she tried. being better with the people around her. showing she cared, it didn't come easy to her. her mother made sure of that when she was younger. but she never tried to be a cruel person. she never went out of her way to be awful. she just struggled showing affection. showing a more vulnerable, softer side. so shoulders sink a little when watching the other, arms curl around the medical board, keeping it tucked to her chest. " no, i couldn't tell you, " she couldn't break her oath, she couldn't break doctor patient confidentiality. wouldn't do that for anyone. it's a reason it's there, and she knows deep down, kim knows that too.

she was doing this on her own, and she told herself she was fine with it. one fun night with the bullrider and . . . and it was magical and fun and unforgetable. this however, is her reality. this is her life. and her reality is no father to her baby, because he didn't want anything to do with them. so, there is just going to be her and the baby. she'll raise her on her own, she'll do a better job than her own mom and she'll give her everything she didn't have growing up. minus a dad, but that's not something she can do anything about. yeah, they'll be fine without theo and his assholery. lips twitch to the side as she roll her eyes ever so little, despite the barely there hint of a smile forming, keeping her back to willa while hugging the moon pillow, after tossing one of her legs over it to get comfortable. " i already told you twice, that you don't have to stay, " she had a small scare, asked willa if she could drive her to the hospital, not really feeling like she was in a state to drive. but that's all there was to it. just a scare. nothing more. everything was fine.
