Winter solstice had been very big for me since I moved back to Minnesota and have to survive these winters again.

It marks the beginning of the end of the darkness.

This year, it immediately follows a new moon, which feels like divine timing.

Then, I stumbled upon #ProjektLunarSigil organized by Gavin Fox on BlueSky.

Perfection.

My winter altar. Theme is lots of bones and crystals, I guess. I like to keep things neutral and restful for winter. I don't agree with the whole red and green of the season. 🍒🍓🍎🍅 none of this says winter to me.

New jaw bones I got is from a raccoon that got hit by a car and I've been wanting for the fur and flesh to decay so I could collect some. There was a skunk too but the irrigation people burned the ditch it was in.
