Coincidentally, it was a new skill day. As a result, skill-building is faster than usual. And fabrication skill is notoriously annoying skills to develop. Plus, I like to burn candles when it's dark outside, and I like how dramatic this animation is. So, let's make some candles!

maren somby for @bakersimmer‘s all i want for winterfest challenge

born and raised in britechester by two humanities professors, maren, their only child, was a bit of a guinea pig for their experimental parenting techniques. by the age of 6 she spoke 3 foreign languages and was primed for a bright academic future. too bad she was more interested in playing ball and climbing neighbourhood fences than keeping her nose in the books. a tomboy and a local wildlife explorer, maren went into conservationist studies but dropped out to work for non-profit organizations, feeling like her actions would make more of a difference than a stuffy university degree.

maren is the brain and the brawn. she may seem a little rough around the edges - and that is completely by choice. she's not afraid to speak her mind, has little patience for pointless bullshit and loves some good-natured ribbing. get her annoyed, though, and you'll find out she can come off as quite mean. don't worry - it's definitely your fault!

Staying inside when others were having fun playing in the mud and reading books in dark corners at school while everyone socialized, some people might mistake him for a loner or a nerd. Always on the move since childhood, he never lived at the same place for more than a year, which made it hard to develop lasting relationships.

Ever the fan of ages past, Dahlia has devoted her life to the feeling of nostalgia.

Her home is often filled with the smell of brewing coffee and the sound of classical music as she works the days away. Generally a quiet woman, Dahlia has always had a passion for the fashion of old. It’s hard to catch her leaving the house in anything but her best and most of her money goes toward vintage fashion and her craft.

She tends to veer toward simple living. While she can be caught watching a show on a chilly Sunday evening, more likely she’s curled up by the fire sketching out a design with a cup of coffee or tea. The bulk of her internet usage goes toward posting pictures of her work on Simstagram or putting some of her creations up for sale, though none of them can be gotten for very cheap.

Dahlia may be quiet, but that doesn’t mean she can’t manage conversation. She mostly enjoys talking about whatever it is that makes people light up; whatever it is to them that fashion history is to her. Long talks over coffee, longer walks in the snow, slow dancing in an empty café - an ideal date revolves around quality time with a passionate person.

Dahlia’s love language is quality time, followed closely by physical touch.

Name: Fuyumi Ayanokouji Age: Young Adult (23) Sexuality: Bisexual Traits: High Maintenance, Materialistic, Insider Aspiration: Fabulously Wealthy Fuyumi was born and raised in Mt. Komorebi and comes from a very wealthy bloodline. Because of this, her mother and father have pushed Fuyumi to work extremely hard to keep the family wealth growing. Now that she has grown into herself, she wants to become Mt. Komorebi's most well known fashion designer and business woman. The sky is the limit, as her father says.

Summer is the worst season. Ever.

Name: Vanessa Walker Age: Young Adult Gender & sexuality: Bi cis woman Traits: Music Lover, Clumsy, Gloomy Aspiration: Musical Genius Likes: Piano, Singing Dislikes: Dancing

Vanessa grew up at a big farm in Henford-on-Bagley with her parents and her 4 siblings (2 older sisters, 2 younger brothers).  

Her favourite thing to do is playing the piano. 

She may love music, but she’s not a big fan of dancing. (Mostly because she’s pretty bad at it.)

She prefers her coffee with lots of milk and sugar.

Her favourite season is autumn, but winter is a close second!

About the challenge:

Winter is a magical and mystical time. To amp up the magic, you won't know who the love seeker is until there are only 3 contestants left. The first 5 contestants are eliminated based on skill-building. The last three, skilled and lucky, will meet E. 

If the contestant dies - it’s the end of their journey.

Ties will be settled with duels. 

Unlike the hell house challenge, I will help each contestant 2 times. But, if they still refuse to focus on skill-building, then this was probably not meant to be. 

I will only keep the winner. Hopefully, others will continue their lives in other people's games.

I won't @ creators in every post. Only in the elimination/win announcement. But you all have your own tag.

Go wild

Eli was the first one to start. He autonomously started complimenting Ellen. Fuyumi followed his lead and complimented Vanessa.

Then Eli started shouting at Vanessa because she dared to flirt with Fuyumi. Ellen wasn't thrilled with Vanessa's actions either. So she decided to show Vanessa that she can also play this kind of game. Ellen autonomously blew a kiss to Eli, but Eli wasn't going to be Ellen's pawn or rebound guy. 

Vanessa tried to end this petty little quarrel by embracing Ellen. Angry stares from Fuyumi and Eli followed this. 

Oh boy 😂🙈
