Just some quick, super low quality renders of @wintermae‘s coffee shop Theory!
@wintermae liked for a short dialogue starter!
“Ladies. Since you seem to know a bit more about what’s up than most everyone else in here, I’m gonna give you a word of advice. That isn’t just one ghoul, in case you missed the obvious. It’s a pack. And it’s not even the whole pack. You go after them now, you’re gonna bite off way more than you can chew, and believe me when I say the results are not going to be pretty.”
@wintermae
“There’s blackthumbs here, right? And garages where they work?”
[[You being my friend drew me in and kept me here. Because you're wonderfully funny and lovely and talented and great to talk to.]]
Caaaaare, you are (AS ALWAYS) an absolute gem and a pleasure to have known. I am very, very fortunate to have met you and to have continued to know for so long. I... have zero braincells right now, so I’m kind of at a loss for words (weed is legal in colorado, and I sure do live in colorado).
That said, though... gosh, I dunno, you’re just as funny and lovely and talented, if not more! I have admired your charm and writing skill and compassion for others for... well, an endless amount of time. You are one of the most positive people I have ever met. Even situations that seem terrible end up having some sort of silver lining with you. You’re so... empathetic. You understand people in a way that I sometimes envy!
You’re a gem. Thank you for sticking with me even when I wasn’t such a great person to be around. I cherish our friendship.

It was already so late that it was early again and the only reason why Michael wasn’t deeply asleep like the others was because his thoughts kept going in worrying circles. He’d found his way to the third row of pews half an hour ago and had spent his time staring at the stained glass details high above the altar - questioning if they were doing the right thing, if they’d taken enough measure; praying that everyone would come out unharmed.
“Mae... you need to... just leave me...” Evelyn ground her teeth at the thready tone in her voice, trying to ignore the way the wound in her side was sending a steadily growing bloom of agony searing its way through her body. She pushed weakly at the other woman, tears stinging her eyes. She didn’t want to die, and she certainly didn’t want to fall into Nikolai’s hands-- oh, God, she didn’t-- but the thought of what Nikolai would do to her lover was too much to bear.
“Go... go on. G-get out of here! They’re coming! You can’t-- you don’t have to-- there are too many of them. Please. Please!”
I DIDN'T KNOW THAT SONG WAS ABOUT A SUGAR DADDY?!??

Redistribution of Wealth at a Charity
@wintermae wants to fake date the Thief for some Robin Hood shenanigans.
“I found the door.”, Leonard muttered quietly, his body angled towards her as he leaned on the table laden with canapees with one elbow, chin braced almost thoughtfully on a white gloved hand. Mae was fussing with the small dishes, looking for all the world like the innocent recipient of her flirtatious co-worker’s attention. “I could use a look out.”
With a sly little grin, he dropped his hand to her shoulder, plucking gently on the fabric of her dress. A small wink and a tilt of the head completed the little act of Casanova trying to entice his object of affection away from her work for a private moment, before he turned away from her to saunter past the display of food.
He did catch the disapproving glare of an older couple, dressed up and laden with jewelry worth more than the average yearly income of a middle class family each, but ‘the help sneaking out to fool around’ was certainly less suspicious than simply ‘the help sneaking out’.
