Hello, massive "Producers" fan here! Could you tell more about the show? I'd LOVE to hear your thoughts! Also, how did you feel was the relationship of Bialystock and Bloom done? From the trailer it looks like they didn't shy away from making it rather physical, and as a somewhat committed shipper I am bouncing up and down x) Thank you in advance for your thoughts, kind stranger! (And thank you for posting these videos)
hi!!!
so it was amazing. the exchange is in the round and i was on the 2nd row so i had a really good view and i was so glad of it. everything about it was so good!!! the actors were splendid.
as for bialyxbloom they did keep the ullaxbloom relationship from previous versions, but as i was watching (and this was my first exposure to the show) i did find bialyxbloom to be rather shippable, the actors were quite affectionate yes (in the trailer it shows bialy kiss bloom on the mouth at the start when the scheme, i think that was the only time (no cheek kiss from the 67 movie)) and ofc when they fight over the account book in act ii they do the ‘it looks like they’re banging’ thing and they went all out on that one. then of course bloom’s solo number ‘til him’ or whatever it’s called was very lovely and emotional and i was like aw, why am i emotional???
overall it was a fantastic performance, and i was absolutely buzzing when i left the theatre!!!
I mean I know he's got amazing shoulders irl and looks like a Dorito but WOAHOHOHO DONT PUT IMAGES IN MY HEAD
Forgive me for bursting into your inbox out of nowhere, but it seems we are fellow MiB fans. May I ask if the short drabble you posted lately is part of a greater collection, and if so, where I can read it? Thank you in advance and I also approve greatly of your Gerard and Kimble header. ;) Kind regards~
Hi! So glad to have found a fellow MIB fan! :DThat drabble was a preview of a fic I'm currently writing! It is very much my usual fare fic-wise, in that it's lots of hurt/comfort and fluff. I hope to have it finished by next week and post it to my ao3. Since you mentioned the header, I'm also working on a Sam/Richard fic :D it's longer and will take a while to finish, but hopefully it turns out as good as I want it to be. THEY ARE MY FAVOURITE SOFT NERDS. 💛
If I may just shamelessly drop by, I really recommend trying out Fiddler On The Roof, as far as musicals go. It's similar to MFL in how intelligent and witty it is - and I think the topic might appeal to you too. It's set in early 20th century Russia and deals with a jewish family and their struggles as they face personal and political obstacles. Beautiful tunes, compassionate characterisation, and a smart story that is engaging, funny and positive despite dealing with challenging stuff~
You can drop by any time my lovelie! ❤ Ah I don’t know I could have forgotten about Fiddler on the Roof, only that I’ve not seen it for years, it used to be my Mum’s favourite and I even went to see a performance of it at the Crucible. Thanks for reminding me of it, the majority of the plot went over my head as a child, as you’d imagine, so I should definitely rewatch it soon.

Just doubled the number of notes!
You’re all so mean to me, I don’t deserve this sort of treatmENT
I did not bring this upon myself whatsoever. Nope. Not at all how dare you.
Charlie Edwards (just because I wanna TORTURE you huhu), Olivia Colman, Colin Firth, Daniel Craig GO
(While I am technically ace as you know, I do have some romantic (not sexual) feelings towards the masculine types.)
C****** E******
nope not my type / alright / cute / adorable / pretty / gorgeous / lord take me now / just propel me up to the sun and friggin cremate me
I brought this upon myself.
Olivia Colman
nope not my type / alright / cute / adorable / pretty / gorgeous / lord take me now
She's just a darling inside and out. And mahoosively down to earth and such a dork, and actually a bleeding good actress. Olivia gets both adorable and gorgeous because them's the truth.
Colin Firth
nope not my type / alright / cute / adorable / pretty / gorgeous / lord take me now
He was fun in Mamma Mia, and so great in that film with the stuttering or something like that really big film that won tons of awards you know (XD). Haven't really seen that much of Colin to make a proper choice, but he's fine.
Daniel Craig
nope not my type / alright / cute / adorable / pretty / gorgeous / lord take me now
As soon as he showed up in Casino Royale that was me gone. I was just entranced by this blond beast of a man. My mum really dislikes him, so it makes me love him even more, oddly.
Regarding that pic of Fussy the Dog and Henry Irving, those glasses look a lot like Irving's own, if I'm not mistaken... xD
hello, yes they are irving’s glasses! there are more photos of that moment in the national trust collection, like this one:
