What is WinterWebs?

WinterWebs is a winter themed prompt event for the Spider-Man fandom with Peter Parker as the central character.

How do I participate?

A list of prompts will be provided. Choose any or all of them to create something for. There are no specific days associated with the prompts, so you may post them whenever you like during the duration of the event. If you post on Archive of our Own (AO3), please add your work to the collection, WinterWebs 2021. If you cross post on Tumblr, make sure to tag #winterwebs and @ this blog so we can be notified and reblog you.

Do I have to write?

Feel free to submit art/mood boards/pod fics if that's more your thing!

When does the event begin?

The event will run during the months of December and January. You may start posting December 1st.

When does the event end?

The event will end on January 31st.

Are there any limitations?

Please adhere to the following rules:

• Peter Parker-centric

• Nothing racist/age inappropriate/incestuous

• No shipping real people

Can I combine WinterWebs prompts?

You can, go wild!

Can I combine these prompts with other events?

Absolutely, feel free to combine them to come up with something pretty cool!

What if I really don't like some of the prompts?

That's okay! You don't have to do them all! Just pick the ones that inspire you.

Can I write for another fandom?

We certainly can't stop you! But unfortunately we will only be promoting and collecting works with Peter Parker as the central character. Have fun, though!

Sure you can! You may not, however, submit sexual content involving minors or anything considered dubious consent. Please be considerate and appropriately rate and tag your works.
