“Okay, this is just ridiculous,” Evan grumbled, actually looking surprisingly like Amalia as he glared up at the shelf that he was reaching for. Normally he’d be able to reach it no problem but now he suddenly felt a lot more helpless. “... Why do people put things so high up anyway? What the hell? This is discrimination for all the short people in the world.” He wasn’t even that short all things considered but the extra seven inches left him annoyed. “The point is, is there any way you could help me? I really want that bag of chips up there and I’m feeling so attacked right now.”
“I don’t think I’ve ever gotten this many free drinks before, it’s actually rather amazing,” Seth mused as he looked down at the margarita in front of him and glanced over at the guy it apparently came from. While normally he had no trouble being hit on, he rarely had to deal with guys, particularly overly aggressive ones. “... why don’t you stick around? I could use some company and I feel like if I keep sitting here alone he’s going to come over here. I’m already a little bit tipsy so that’s probably not a good idea. Especially because I’m pretty sure he’s not my type. Pretty sure I’m gay, actually.”
The situation was something that had taken Freddy a long time to get his head around and he still wasn’t really sure what was going on. Waking up in a complete strangers body was an emotional roller-coaster to say the least but he’d just about decided to stop worrying and make the most of it as he arrived at the bar. He’d passed one or two people on the way who didn’t seem to know who he was, though they did seem a little too preoccupied with their own problems, so he decided he could go ahead with his chosen name of Candi when introducing himself to people - cute and unique, he thought. He was dancing far too provocatively but once he’d started, he was enjoying the attention he got too much to stop. Getting a bit tired of dancing alone, Freddy reached out to grab a presumed stranger’s hands. “Dance with me?”
“Yes, yes I know I look different but honestly if you knew how much time it took to put on this shirt alone I think you’d cut me just a little bit of slack. And the number of hair products I use to keep everything looking neat... I could run a whole salon out of my bathroom, dear lord. I thought girls had it rough but I’ve worn so many dresses that took so much less time than putting together this outfit.” There was a very long pause as Chris realized what she said and shook her head. “Okay that’s not what I meant. I meant I’ve seen dresses that take less work. I’m not saying that I like to wear dresses in my spare time when no one’s looking. I mean... never mind. Just pretend I’m not here, please. I really need a coffee.”
“I just feel like I woke up on the right side of the bed this morning,” Levi started to the stranger, seemingly with nothing out of the ordinary. He was still trying to get used to the feeling, but it hadn’t taken him long to stop panicking about being a girl and start trying to take advantage of it. “I’m feeling especially beautiful today. Of course, I’m always beautiful, but there’s just something extra special going on with me today. Maybe it’s the hair,” he decided, happily pushing it over his shoulder. “What do you think?”
“Yes I’m going to eat the whole thing,” Zoey said as soon as she finished the bite of the massive sub in her hands. She wasn’t normally one to eat a lot but she supposed that somehow this new body needed a lot more food than she was used to consuming and she was ravenous. It didn’t even matter to her in that moment that it cost about as much as she was used to spending on food for an entire day. “It’s not even that good, you know? Tastes like shit but at this point I think I’ll eat anything. I haven’t felt this hungry in... well in a long damn time.”
“Fuck, fuck, fuck,” Angelo said under his breath, testing out his new voice while also oddly amused to look at the reflection and hear that coming from Lucy’s mouth. Turning around, he looked along the sidewalk, finding himself purposely shoving into the closest stranger and then glaring at them. “Watch where the hell you’re going,” he snapped. His main focus was trying to get to his apartment, but that didn’t mean he wasn’t going to cause a little trouble along the way.
Below the cut you will find a list of Comedy event themed subplots. Partners for the subplots are the same as the partners for the body swap.
Family Matters
As though things weren’t already bad enough, it seems that this is the week that some of our Townies have plans with family and have to make an appearance. Unfortunately their families are expecting them to look like themselves and at the moment they don’t. What else can be done but try to coach the person they’ve swapped with on how to deal with their family... let’s just hope things go according to plan.

Like There’s No Tomorrow
For some this body swap doesn’t seem like such a curse and they see it as a chance to get out and really experience all that life could offer in ways they couldn’t normally. For others it’s a terrifying prospect when you realize how much damage someone else could do to their name. Maybe it was intentional payback or just someone having fun but what results is a game of cat and mouse as the two try to embarrass the other person while doing their best to save their own name.
Andy Goode & Maggie Dailey
Amalia Summers & Evan Snow
Phoebe Marsh & Fredrick Clarke
Parker Harris & Theodore Carlisle
Working Hard
Of course it would just so happen that this was the pivotal week in their career when they don’t even get to be the ones doing the job. Instead these townies are forced to trust in someone else to do their job and keep their good reputation. It remains to be seen if the other person is willing to work with them or even work at all. Maybe they can trust the other person or maybe they’ll have to resort to bribery or even blackmail to get the job done.
