It's really interesting how wirebugs seem to cooperate with us in the same way the palamutes and felynes do.
This hasn't really been covered in media, or even most wiki sites, as far as I can tell and I think it's interesting to consider given how they're treated in game vs how popular perception seems to only consider them as tools.
These tiny creatures are able to bind monsters, send us flying, keep us mid air momentarily, and so much more. Yet we don't get to see how/what they eat.
Apparently the males only ever look for and then chill out by jewel lilies which might be good if one great wirebug could sustain itself off of them but we don't know.
We aren't aware of a lot about them despite the hunting methods being used in the region relying on them. I hope we're able to uncover more about them either with new info yet to be cataloged or in later updates.
