RECOMMENDED

God I missed this band. Haven't missed a beat. Fifth album, crew outta Adelaide, continuing to build/blow off steam. At the kernel is the sort of aggravated folk-punk of Cracker or Camper Van Beethoven, but replace the cutesy artifice and ska leanings with authentically rad historicals (The Saints, The Mekons, The Fall). You don't need me to tell you anything else. Couldn't ask for more, really. Glad they're back. (Doug Mosurock)

Wireheads are an Adelaide, Australia band...and they sound like it. This music just oozes Australian post-punk confidence; think Eddy Current Suppression Ring or Terry. This is being released by the ever reliable Tenth Court (I think The Business in Anacortes, Washington distributes music for Tenth Court).

I was listening to another Australian band this morning: Golden Staph. To me they sound nothing like an Australian band. So, with the link below, consider today a twofer.
