OMG you guys!! My #lakeside #rockhunting brought the best treasure today!!! Either late #cambrian or #devonian (maybe Silurian or Ordovician?) Pile of #fossils just a chunk of the sea floor littered with #brachiopod and #gastropod fossils and I'm squeeing so hard!! I almost fell in the lake I was so excited!! I think there might be a tiny trilobite in the corner, but I need to dig out my loupe for that. Man now that I know that I can find fossils, keeping me out of the rocks is going to be impossible. I had suspected since I saw a few rocks with spiral impressions but was not sure, but now I am.
