Thank you for the ask!
08: What’s the best piece of feedback you’ve ever gotten?
Let me think… I’d have to say, probably the feedback that my characters didn’t have defining voices. As in, all the dialogue sounded the same, no matter who was speaking. It’s something I’m still working to improve today!
09: What’s the worst piece of feedback you’ve ever gotten?
I had a beta reader once that could not understand contextual clues. At one point in my story, my character was feeling guilty over a friend’s disappearance and presumed death, and upon hearing the news, her other friends began lighting candles and crying. His feedback was, “Why does she feel guilty about the candles? Does she know what they’re lighting the candles for?”
15: What would you say has inspired you the most?
Nature is a big inspiration to me. Some of my best memories are of being in old-growth forests, or walking through canyons. I love to notice the little details among the majesty. I think that really comes out in my writing- probably my biggest strength is imagery.
17: Would you like your books to be turned into TV shows, movies, video games, or none?
Yes??? I have already designed the TV show theme, thank you very much?? In all seriousness, I think I’d prefer a show over a movie, since that way the plots could be explored in greater detail. And I’d be intrigued to see a video game.

1. As a writer, who is your biggest inspiration?
Kay Hooper tbqh. She has a writing style and an eye for good story telling. I know she writes romance but she also writes the Bishop/SCU books and those books give me LIFE!
5. Have you considered writing professionally or do you have plans to?
I actually did write a book and started two others and I did query the first book for an agent. I still plan to self publish it once I rewrite it since I finished it when I was 19 and would probably change a lot of it now that I am older/more experienced as a writer. But yes I’ve wanted to be published since I finished Hide & Seek.
8. How has roleplaying, specifically, impacted your life?
It’s kept my imagination flowing and kept me being creative and in my head. I know being in your head sounds bad but my head is a darn interesting place!
16. What inspired you to start writing?
I don’t know really. I just started writing down the weird shit that was in my head. Always was a dark little kid that had ghosts and murderers in their head wanting to tell a story so I started writing and just let it go from there.
