my dear gumy i would love to hear ur ideas on the canary curse, because to me it feels as if people are shoving it down our throats, when it hasnt even been a sure thing in the last few life series. he hasnt escaped a curse he just got better at the game, and even viewing it as a curse, he still broke free of it.

at this point we just kill those guys i think. it’s been nearly as many seasons of him not dying first as there were for the canary curse to begin with. also to be honest it’s been a while now of me not liking the curse narrative at all. i feel like it’s more interesting when he’s a guy who’s unlucky and has self-defeating tendencies than a guy who dies first because he’s cursed by Evil Purple Angels.
