UH-OH!! He panicked under his breath the moment he heard not only his name but last name as well. Quickly he pulls her closer, deeper into the into the hideout and into his room. The last thing the other Plumber’s kids needed to know was that their LEADER fumbled. Or..not fumble but just had no choice to do what he did if he wanted to take out that rather DIFFICULT mutant. Now that they were alone he makes quick work of the door and then faces her.

His voice is soft, barely above a whisper. An attempt to pull her down into something calmer, allow a bar of rest in her frantic melody. She clearly needs it— she seems frazzled. Overwhelmed. 

He may have no clue what’s going on in her life, but it’s clearly too much for her to be handling on her own. Not given even a moment to feel, to express her emotions. A bottle of stress threatening to burst at any moment. A sautille that threatens to break the strings of the violin rather than the hairs of the bow.

He holds sympathy, for her. For the fact she clearly feels so restricted in her life. In what she’s allowed to express. The fact nobody seems to be willing to hold space for her. To allow her to express herself. To be hurt and exhausted… forced to do her best to appear, visually, fine, whilst likely in such a fragile state underneath it all.

Of course not. That would only make it worse. People need to be allowed to become comfortable. To express themselves at their own rate. Otherwise they may run forever from what they need most.

He puts a soft emphasis into his next words, trying to make certain that if this might be the only chance he has to speak to her, the words would stick in her mind.

He had to swallow the questioning trill that wished to come out while his head tilted to the side. That sounded like something that had some backstory to it. What exactly Keigo didn't know and he also wasn't sure if she would share it. He knew he wouldn't be too keen to share that sort of story. But then he didn't exactly wish to share anything from his own past.

"I'd rather be a fool than not experience that though." Not that Keigo could ever say he was in love. Not romantically anyway. He was lucky that he at least had someone who cared about him in a familial sort of way. If it wasn't for Zora doing that then he didn't know how he would turn out.

And he was lying through his teeth. He felt utterly exhausted from everything he had done. From having so many meetings to try and handle his various businesses and meeting with the other sins, Lucifer's social and physical batter was exhausted. But he didn't wish to worry Lilith. "If you're tired, however, I can carry you, though. I would hate for you to over-exert yourself."

Gold eyes narrowed while his tail thrashed about behind him before he scoffed. "Yeah whatever," he grumbled. As annoyed as he was, he didn't want to cause a scene. Having Vaggie or Charlie come over wasn't exactly ideal and would just give him more of a headache. Besides, he imagined she didn't mean any harm by it. As annoying as it was when people brought up his cat features, he was starting to get used to it.

"Are you going to order a drink or what?"

He raised at brow at her for a second, silently asking if she wanted him to answer that or not. Though he partially thought that if he did answer then he may regret it.

"Then how are you feeling?" Ekko asks instead. Because if there was some way he could possibly fix it then he'd try. Even if it meant having to rewind time a few times. Something he hoped wouldn't happen but then, he was never certain now. But he was willing to give it a try. Something she hopefully saw and would allow him to do.
