Dionysus watched white-hot flames unfurl from beneath Apollo's splintering human skin, and he idly wondered how this particular star ever held back the monstrous truth of his nature. (x)

So I’m catching up on all the TOA fics that I missed right? And your chapter on Hephaestus actually made me cry, I also loved ares and Athena’s chapters and I’m about to read Dionysus’s chapter but Hephaestus’s chapter was so moving and beautiful and the way you characterized everyone was So moving I just love it thank you so much !!!!

Like, you’ve pulled off everything about it. I absolutely adore the storyline. From the moment you posted the first part, you had me hooked. Your characterization is incredible! I did read your fic about the elder gods! (Honestly really love your work). I keep rereading that and WITBS bc it’s one of the best fanfics I’ve read in a really long time. I do think it would be interesting to hear a snippet from Demeter following Apollo’s trials with Meg, considering she’s megs mother though.

I want to know what happens in canon before I start making guesses about Demeter's complicated internal thought process, so that kind of snippet will probably be written after book 5 is published. If I wait for canon, I won't have to make wild guesses that contradict canon! And if canon does a good job with the matter, I don't think I'll write a snippet at all. Nothing is certain, so we'll wait and see.
