Witch Names & Aliases
I haven’t seen many posts about witch names or aliases; and I’m not talking in a spiritual way. If you’re someone, who like me, believes names hold a power over oneself, please invest in an alias.
By using one, it does not mean that you don’t trust anyone in the witchcraft community, but rather it’s a safety percaution. Especially if you are in a coven/group or interacting with other witches in your personal life.
The name or alias that you end up going by, does not need any deep meaning unless you want it to, as long as it’s not pertaining to your real name. Maybe something sounds cool to you, maybe a herb that suits you, or a nickname you go by online. Anything.
One thing I would like to state: I am not saying this is a necessity for witchcraft, merely a percaution like a protection ward.
